This generation of gamers confuses me ...

whenever someone brings up the "needs more content" topic , people keep replying with : it's just 2 months old , wait a bit ... wtf ? I remember the days when you bought a game full price it was a full game , and when an expansion was released it actually added tremendously to the amount of content of the original game. yes , we play Destiny , yes we love it , but lets face it ... it is -blam!-ing lacking in all major departments, it's just the looting that's keeping it alive this far , and even that is because of the weird RNG system in place.

  • The reason people say this is because it is more akin to a computer MMO. When they are first release, many of them do not have much content. However Destiny has very little content at all. I see this as a stepping board for Bungie. They developed their own graphics engine and are foraying into new territory with a game like Destiny. This game has the potential to be the game will be looked at in the future as the game that changed the FPS genre, but only if the following games turn out to be bigger successes. "It's not about who did it first/it's 'bout who did it right" Destiny did it first, let's see if Destiny 2 does it right.
