The reason they even offer the choice of other races in Destiny and in any RPG, MMORPG, fantasy game, etc, is because of the main reason people (me included) play video games. We want to escape. We want to leave the confines of our lives and realities, so that we can do what we can only dream off, or simply do what is simply not socially acceptable (shoot people, run naked down the street, etc). Video games are how people like me leave the stress of life and enter a different world and be who we want to be, to some extent in our control. That's the reason so many people choose races other than human. So we can be, what we could never be. My first character is an Awoken Female. Why? Because I'm trying to make the character like Tali from the Mass Effect series. As you can imagine she is a Hunter. Now if could find a more full face visor mask, it would all come together... My second character is a Human Female. She is a titan with red hair. My purpose with this one was to have a kickass, fist pumping, war-fighting, stereotype breaking force of destruction. The character has come together near perfect. Red hair, red shader (god of war), with Red Death? Badass level achieved. Yea my comment was a bit serious but it had to be said.
