Refund for Xbox users who purchased season pass
I make this poll because as an Xbox gamer I feel that I am being cheated out of my money. It was very clearly advertised at launch that the sony devices would receive content at launch that would be exclusive for a year, but I was fine with that. What I am not fine with however, is the fact that Xbox users are paying the exact same price right now for content that we won't receive for another year, and it was not properly advertised until recently. I personally feel as though I've been exploited, because I purchased the season pass in hopes that it would be equal content and would enhance the gaming experience equally on both consoles. The fact that we on Xboxes are paying the same for less content is unfair in my opinion because if we just waited a year to buy the content it is almost guaranteed that it would be cheaper by then except we'd get the content at the same time as anybody who bought the dlc at full price. I think it is shady business practices and I believe we deserve some form or reparations.
I'd like to hear your comments and thoughts, please no bashing I'd really prefer if comments here could be a discussion rather than random spite and venom. Thank you for your time.

Ya know... if you want a refund due to lack of content overall, that's fine. I can't say I agree with the planned DLC's and the lackluster content. it's on par with Call of Duty's tiny amounts of content for 20 bucks a pop. Or Battlefield. They do it too. Those assholes who gave us BF4. But for the people who've been posting for days, crying about "Playstation gets content, but we paid the same and we're not getting it", you people are morons. I'm done being nice about it, just go rot. Anyone who looked into any of the news on this game, as far back as january when I looked into it, would have known that the Sony Playstation was paying for Exclusives that Microsoft didn't pony up for. And they're all just crying about how Unfair it is, because they're Entitled, despite the fact that sony Paid for exclusives, they're entitled to it on their X1's, cause that's only fair. Lets ignore the fact that Microsoft practically invented the practice of throwing money at people for exclusives (make it rain, daddy, make it rain!), but lets look at the exclusives. Like what we have now. I chose to get it on my PS4 rather than my X1 because I knew Sony was getting extras. Which are Guns that most people don't see often, and even with my game time I've only gotten the Hawk Moon. And the Dust Palace strike. A strike that can't be played in story or normal or anything, can only be accessed through the strike playlist, and never pops up in the nightfall or daily or heroic. So it is, literally, just an Extra. And this is what the community's up in arms about? Sony paid for it, but You're entitled to it just because you paid for the PLANNED OUT DLC and didn't get the extra that the OTHER CONSOLE paid for? It's just childish. Cry about the overall lack of content. Not the fact that Sony did what Microsofts been doing for years.

The right thing to do would be to refund the amount of... if it's 35€, in European countries using euros, then get 20€ back and you've paid 15€, or 15€ back and pay 20€, I think paying 15-20€ would be fair for both "The Dark Below" and "House of Wolves", the season pack. In case Bungie/Activision/their Money Managing&Refunds Department doesn't want to be fair and refund part of it, they should give the next 2 expansions for free or really cheap, and also try to work a little harder than what supposedly they've done with "The Dark Below". In my opinion that would be fair for both, gamers and developers.

Information stating that Playstation users would get exclusive content on the expansion I & II was released before the game was released. It is not Bungies nor Activisions fault that you purchased this game uninformed when the information was available. Those of you who are going to say i am wrong and the information was not released i will provide evidence below. Look, for all the people saying Xbox get's exclusives, ps get's exclusives. That is fine. I understand. What is not fine is that xbox users purchased the season pass when it stated new content will be released at a given time across all consoles. What was not stated, until recently, was the fact that the ps users will receive another exclusive that xbox users won't get for a year. The problem with this whole ordeal is that they let xbox users purchase the season pass without informing them they wouldn't get full content due to exclusive rights. Once again, exclusives are fine, but you have to inform your customers. There may have been many people purchasing the season pass that wouldn't have if they had this information. I am not saying it is unfair xbox doesn't get the content. I AM saying that it is very poor business practice to not inform your customers until after, months after, they have purchased the product.

I wasn't surprised by the news that there would be exclusive DLC content. I knew that Playstation would have a year of exclusive content. I didn't bother assuming it would be launch only content. I just shrugged my shoulders and accepted there would be stuff I couldn't play for a year. I can wait a year. I'm hoping that some of the extra money that Sony paid for that exclusive deal goes towards fixing connection issues or developing new content.

1 ReplyI have not purchased the DLC so for me personally it does not matter. However i feel for anyone who has purchased the DLC and is now getting less content as you have mentioned it was not advertised that for the DLC playstation users would get extra content only the launch content. People who bought the content should probably take the case up with trading standards as you have been mis-sold content.
