Are you sick of feminist threads?

Yes. Just shut the -blam!- up already.

No, because I have a large, opinionated vagina.

Personally, as a female, I am tired of these -blam!-ing posts. Who cares if someone cat calls you, I'm sick of reading about it. Shut the hell up already. According to SOMEONE, this makes me selfish. But I love seafood, so I'm ok with that.

If you're a woman and you don't support feminism then I'm extremely disappointed in you because you clearly don't have any empathy for the daily struggles of your fellow women. Just because you are okay with getting catcalled and harassed on the street doesn't mean all of us are. Just because your life is fine doesn't mean the rest of ours are. I've posted this before but it's relevant here. If you're a woman and you're against feminism, you're basically saying: My life is perfectly okay and I don’t really care what other women go through I think feminists are just whiny and can’t take jokes that perpetuate harmful stereotypes I believe that people are just obsessed with political correctness I am blind to the fact that there are still problems faced by women I have forgotten that feminism gave women rights such as the right to vote I have no idea that feminism is an egalitarian movement that fights for everyone’s rights regardless of sex, gender, sexuality, race, religion, nationality, and ethnicity but mostly focuses on women’s rights. I am more concerned about semantics rather than human rights I can’t distinguish between real feminists and shitty people who call themselves feminists I still believe in the false notion that feminism is about hating men I actually don’t understand what feminism is You're seeing the extremist feminists and getting the false notion that their outspoken views are what feminism is about. Saying all feminists are man-hating extremists is like saying all Muslims are terrorists; it's simply absurd. Do you believe that men and women should be equal, legally, politically, socially, etc? Then you're a feminist. By definition. Also modern feminism focuses more on the elimination of traditional gender roles. For example, it's perfectly okay if you want to be a stay-at-home mom, but you should do that because you want to, not because society expects you to. And the gender roles issue is relevant to men as well. Men shouldn't have to be ashamed of doing traditionally feminine things. We shouldn't call men who are physically weaker than average or afraid to fight or whatever "pussies," because not only is that demeaning for them, but it implies that being a woman or anything associated with woman is lesser or bad. Please, understand what feminism is really about. Realize that there are women out there that are struggling, even if you aren't, because being against feminism as a woman is only putting yourself down. You're just adding to the false idea that women are somehow worth less than men. You may not agree with every single idea that every feminist has, but for -blam!-'s sake, support your fellow women, and understand that you wouldn't have a lot of the rights you take for granted today if not for feminism.
