Stop blaming users' networks or NAT

Bungie please stop blaming our NAT or network for the connection issues. We all know how to set up our consoles on the net to play games, we've been doing it for years. It's not us. It's not our router or adsl speed. It's not even PSN. It's your servers. Your patch. Your mistake. Apologise and fix it.

  • Absolutely. I've been playing Battlefield 4 online since December 2013 and it works totally fine, I am connected through wi-fi and I never lose connection in that game. And I've never before been asked to screw around with my router settings to make a game work online properly. Destiny, however, is a different story. Not a day goes by where I can play Destiny without losing connection a few times. It's quite frustrating when I go to do a strike or a mission solo, get near the end and then lose connection and have to start all over again. Very frustrating. And usually I'm chatting to a bunch of people in Xbox party chat throughout the whole disconnection process without our conversation being interrupted AT ALL.... we'll be in a mission and I'll lose connection and go back to orbit, but we'll still be talking the whole time with 0 chat problems.... so obviously there is no problem with my internet connection if I can continue to have a conversation with someone throughout the whole game disconnection. Very annoying. And crucible? You can just forget about that. Crucible is not an option for me. If I can maintain connection in a crucible match for 5+ minutes, I consider that to be a god damn MIRACLE. Usually it's 30-60 seconds or so and I'm booted back to orbit. It can't handle 6+ players. Battlefield 4 though? Up to 64 players, can play it for like 8 hours and not even lose connection ONCE.
