I put the pumpkin head on in the tower sat down third person view nothing. Saw someone playing on Venus last night with a pumpkin head. I even was on the moon last night and got it dropped from killing one of the highest ultras tried that pumpkin head sat down also nothing. I know PlayStation is getting all the special treatment and getting all the goodies and not having any issues. Although they are having one major issue and that's constant issues with their servers and sign ins which I'm glad we're not having for the most part I guess you could say. However if they can't get this simple thing correct what are we supposed to expect from the expansion packs crap . No I have not tried it without my exotic helmet probably because it's the only helmet I have. I'm not sure if that would make a difference because when you go to the tower your helmet comes off anyways its not working there.
