I don't even know if this is the correct place to post this

I am returning (or having to resell) Destiny to GameStop. I have the Xbox One edition and I am severely disappointed in the game. This is not the product that was advertised, and the relationship between producer and customer is tarnished. After speaking with Xbox support, I was directed to Bungie to file for a credit on my Microsoft account for $34.99 (the preorder for the expansion) as they state they cannot help. I was somewhat shocked that there is no formal "Contact Us" (yes there is a page, which says use the Forums). My issue has nothing to do with the community, it is between Bungie and I, but nonetheless, as I have not yet used the DLC, I would like it to be removed from my account and be compensated for the purchase. If a Bungie representative who can help me reads this, please PM me so we can put this at rest.

  • I sincerely hope that they do not give you a refund due to the fact that you have 98+ hours logged of playtime...that's the equivalent of buying a 4 day pass to Disneyland, going on all the rides multiple times and then demanding a refund stating that you didn't enjoy yourself as much as the commercials stated you were going to enjoy yourself. The integrity of the refund process at stores such as Gamestop is to replace damaged, non-functional goods or games that are unplayable for whatever reason (unless you bought the game used, which I doubt). Good luck finding something that makes you happy, sorry you didn't care for this game; being taped to a chair with a remote glued to your hands playing Destiny at gunpoint for 98 hours - I truly hope you prosecute the individual(s) that forced such hardship upon you :-p

  • After five days I have not yet had any contact with anyone from Bungie. I assume when they direct users to use the Contact Us page, they imply they are using it too. I do hope that this will not be pushed off until the DLC is released, thereby adding it to my account and losing any possible chance of a credit being applied.
