So I was doing the nightfall earlier when I came up with what I consider to be an excellent idea. This game lacks a particular variety amongst exotic weapons, with only a select few feeling truly exotic, all things considered. I suggest to this community, for feedback, that bungie introduce a new array of weapons; Dark weapons. These would be similar to, for example, the sword of crota which was utilized by the hive to slay thousands of guardians. However, these would be obtainable, ideally, exclusively through completing certain high-level missions to be added later in the game. They would be comparable to the hard raid, and in the event that the community discovers another exploit as it did with Atheon I believe there should be a minimum light/dark level for use, for example 29 or 30 to prevent underleveled players from being handed an OP weapon for their use. I believe these weapons, amongst which there would be many, should be a guarantee upon the completion of any one of these highly demanding missions. Onto the weapons themselves. They would possess a certain dark level, which increases with each upgrade. The further you upgrade it, the more powerful it becomes, however there would be negative side effects with each upgrade that would become increasingly more prominent as the gun gained power. What these side effects may be is up to Bungie, or even the community, but for fear of abuse in the game as the mythoclast was I would hope that these weapons would be restricted to PVE. I would also like to suggest a relatively similar armor system. However, these armor pieces would have to be built/scavenged over the course of many difficult missions, however completing them would guarantee or nearly guarantee assembling each armor piece. These armor sets would be based upon the travelers enemies, for example there would be a hive set of armor. They would PVE exclusive and would grant the wearer the ability to, for example, ally with the hive in certain missions, and the armor would look ridiculously armor, having the guardian decked out like a miniature hive knight. I want to know what you guys think. Like the idea, or no? Any changes?
