I like the game have over 300hours in it but i wont continue to pay and play a game that keep fueling console warfare in this day n' age. I want the warfare to end I want equallity and i think the first expansion should be free because of the lack of content to begin with.

Oh no, now it'll take a group with new players eight minutes to learn the other part of the raid, before its more or less the same as before. Experienced groups: virtually unaffected.

I wasn't that bad once the less experienced guys figured it out. You only need to successfully make it through the portals twice to kill atheon. Just wait till Bungie makes it to where 3 people are kicked and 3 random people from your friends list are teleported.

We actually did the raid and the same people kept getting teleported and we kept getting left side aka mars bka red, only took us two teleports to kill him aswell, dont know if it was just luck

This has proved to be a pretty big pain in the ass the couple of raids I have done this week. My usual group, which is usually a well oiled machine when it comes to the raid, turned into a bunch of chickens with their head cut off just last night. Was both humorous and frustrating.

2 RepliesI did the raid last night the random choosing didn't make things harder. To me it actually seemed easier. This is another example of complain just to complain. If your team can surpass that with three random guys going in. That shows your teamwork is great because you didn't send your best players in. You adapt to the situation and get shit done.

Wasn't that much harder with randoms.... he went down faster because of the extra DPS time.....

Edited by GraveBane: 10/29/2014 1:08:44 PMdid it twice on normal last night. the most annoying part of the raid was ahteons new power to randomly target people anywhere in the game and teleport them back to orbit with a monkey for a present. took 9 people to get thru the first part. 6 in the group and 3 waiting to tag in when people got kicked. they 3 maned most of the fights before templar and finished up the oracles with 2 people. it was right around then that bungie figured they went alottle to far with atheons random teleport and tuned it back to just work in his chambers. we had 1 portal jump where no one grabbed the shield at first. a few where some noob followed the shield guy down to kill the adds instead of the oracles and once where the noob grabbed the shield first. overall we only wiped I think twice. one of those times the shield carrier got bugged going thru the mars portal and ended up in venus instead of outside and was unable to cleanse the other 2 players.

Our strategy for Atheon was basically "whoever gets teleported and grabs the relic first isn't -blam!-". The randomness doesn't really harm the group at all if everyone knows what to do in each role. Hard might be a different story, but in normal mode I felt that it was a little more fun with the randomness. Edit: Okay, thanks for the comments. In case it wasn't obvious, I didn't use that word in a manner that I meant it to be offensive. Here's a question though: when did that word become offensive? I thought that was the 'G' in LGBT because it was considered an acceptable term to use. Are people just becoming overly sensitive or did my time in the military destroy my filters? Not trying to steal the thread here either, I'm just curious.
