cryptarch level up reward not being legendary
So why would you have it say legendary package and only give me rare items every time not even strange coins or ascendance materials i think this should be fixed either change the name to rare package or give better items.

If you want to level up your character faster it's not hard with the cryptarch a lot of people have been saying that they get no luck with the cryptarch with rare engrams that's simply not true what happens with rare engrams is that you have to have 20 I would say on the minimum before you go in use them with the cryptarch and also realized that if you're using a three of coins and you're right about to get a package from the cryptarch don't expect a key or I'm sorry a exotic engram to drop on that mission because the game knows that you're about to get a package from the cryptarch or from your faction or anything don't waste to keep just throwing that out there number two if you think that you can't level up with the cryptarch will try to throw in legendary engrams with the rare engrams and I swear I swear to God that I have had an exotic drop from a rare engram twice and the last time I did that I look cool mission got eyes focused the most I'm just getting Precision hits on his head and trying to find them with an auto rifle when it will go black on the second time that you would find them I would activate a three of coins or if I didn't do that I did it during the loading screen during the narrative part when you see all the other ships that hoarding a fireteam the randos basically. Activating it drop to and Graham to Exotic engrams the only ever the only time it ever did that for me to Exotic engrams at the same time was an inhaler race back from year one so dropping two Exotics as rare as hell but getting the cryptarch to give you a legendary item out of if he just go with a minimum of 20 and grams would at least 40% of them being weapons you're going to get a legendary weapon and if they give you a weapon look at the reason why they think they gave you some time to have some time just telling you things in your inventory

Exactly I couldn't tell you the last time it gave me a legendary.

They need to increase the chance of legendary engram even more 10 rank ups and no legendary with bungie.

I've gotten a legendary engram or two from packages (post patch), so they do give them to you. If you want legendaries and exotics just run the nightfall.

Edited by ~Abyss~: 10/28/2014 1:54:31 AMI gave up trying to earn gear from anything in this game at this point. Its so screwed up to the point that i haven't seen a legendary anything in a month or more now. I just save up and buy stuff and leveled up my factions so i can buy weapons from them.

I agree. Dont call it legendary when it doesn't ever give legendary. I used to get em too before they patched it.

I played the shit out of vanguard tiger and then cash in on my blues I get my blues along with strange coins and motes of light before and after patch and when I lv the CA I get my postmaster stuff one out of every 3 LV ups I'll get shard or energy but still a few blues. My CA is at lv 18 or 19. I'm rank 3 in my trading cards across the map so shit just falls when I kill in PVE. My GT is WOLF3006 Xbox one add me. I'll be on around 5pm USA TX time. I read and see and hear about this all the time I played with guys that have same issue. One common thing with them is they play crucible more then the actual PVE and vanguard then I do and they get more shit in pvp. Holla at me

I suppose it is classified as Legendary because it has the chance of giving Legendary Engrams. All of the faction packages, to my knowledge, are classified as Legendary. Though it is only a small chance to get those Engrams, so maybe it would be better to reclassify it.

Yeh the package containing mostly blues is pretty crud considering how quickly you get the the stage where you dont even look at a blue. I know the blues can turn into legs but that's a really small chance. Put in coins / material chances like you said and a good (better than current) chance at a legendary with a mandatory legendary every 5 levels.
