Petition for space combat (dogfighting)
It's been so long and the are a few but not many games out there now a days to have space combat.
A lot of us grew up with star fox, xwing vs tie fighter, wing commander.
When I first saw the ships in the beta and how there were different ships I thought that maybe we would see space combat
After reading an article on Forbes about it the author had mentioned some great ideas.
Obviously the first is ship customization. Level up your ship, by getting new guns, armor plating, engine upgrade, increase sensors etc
Having the ship serve as a hub you can walk in. Invite others
Get bounties and other access from your ship without going to the tower.
One thing that was mentioned that I really liked was the idea of having a huge space battle and landing in a larger craft and then being able to exit your ship and continue fighting on foot. Maybe plant explosives, or rescue mission
Then there is the crucible part which would be cool and rewarding

How about putting a gun/rockets on the sparrow? It could be unlimited like on a pike or you could use special and heavy ammo as your ammo reloads.

yes!!! give us space fights please!! it will make ships more useful and not something pretty to stare at in orbit. i wouldnt mind a free travel as well. like u can just fly around in space and do whatever like patrol.

I remember Star Wars Battlefront 2 blowing my mind with the space-fighting (don't judge I was a late gamer) and have said before that I would enjoy this being put into destiny. If it were a DLC I just hope they would be reasonable with the price. I'd say about £10.00/£12.00 would be fair, although if it were free and done properly it would be great. Now I don't think it would be too difficult to incorporate. We can use Sparrows and pikes etc. already, they'd just need a vertical aspect put in and that would essentially be it. The rest is mostly artwork. But then again I'm not a coder/developer so I could be wrong.

How bout orbital hive/fallen/vex/cabal invasions? Guardians must break through a ring to land on the main ship, get off, and fight their way to the "bomb room" and plant it. Then they fight their way out a watch from the distance as the ship explodes. Ya or nah?
