First Exotic Bounty.
Just got the chance to pick an exotic bounty. Witch should I pick and why? Also if you could tell me a little about each it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help.

Best way to find out what you want to do is look up each bounty online and find a wiki for them. A light in the dark is for thorn, the hand cannon. Toland is for bad juju (has a 15 mag, full auto, and little impact. Until the buff this pulse rifle, I wouldn't use it) and a dubious task is for the shotgun, invective. I have to say thorn is the hardest out of all of them. Invective is a painful grind that requires 5 deathless strikes and completing 25 additional strikes

7 RepliesA light in the dark is the harder one of the three. Has a PVP mode and a difficult PVE part. With patience you can do the PVP. As for Xyor (PVE) there's a lot of forum threads for helping that part. Xyor is the last part of the bounty. If you're on PS4 and want help then let me know. I got my thorn today and I think I can help others. Just reply to my post cause my PSN is not the same. Good luck guardian.

A light in the Dark isnt that difficult if you're ok at PVP and have good void weapons like Atheons Epilogue and Praedyth's Revenge. It's the hardest bounty of the 3, but the Thorn is a cool weapon and quite powerful once upgraded. Toland's Legacy gives you the Bad Juju. Beautiful looking gun, but underpowered and a small clip. A Dubious Task gives the Invective. Havent used mine much. Was an easy bounty to do though. You'll need to earn a 25 KD spread in PVP

1 ReplyI have done them all, and A Dubious Task is by far the easiest. It gives you the Invective shotgun...but I never use it. Toland's Legacy gives you the Bad Juju pulse rifle, and takes a lot of time because of the 25 strikes you must complete. Plan to spend hours on Strikes alone. Also, the Bad Juju has horrible stability and only shoots five bursts per clip...which is disappointing. Finally, Light in the Dark gives you the Thorn hand cannon but is by far the harder of the three. The Void Damage Crucible bounty will not be easy, and Thorn is a decent hand cannon at best.

3 Replies1st is a pain, but the payout is good if you like handcannons. Thorn is great, after you put in a lot of time with it. The poison dot is really good in both pve and pvp. The clip and reload is god awful, but it's getting buffed "soon". 2nd is easier, a lot of painful grinding and then needing Xur, but the payout is garbage. You are rewarded with Bad Juju, an aesthically pleasing pulse rifle, lacking in all fields, even with upgrades I wouldn't touch it with a 39 and a half foot pole. Also getting buffed "soon" though. 3rd is the 2nd best, in my opinion. Not much bs required, and you're rewarded with Invective, a fully auto shotgun with insane recoil and slow reload time. It does regen ammo, however and is pretty good in Crucible, if you like shotguns. I'd say go with Thorn, though. But I'm a biased hand cannon lover.
