Not getting legendary engrams
I have yet to see A purple or legendary Engram drop while playing destiny afterthought hot fix that was supposed to increase these drops. It is very discouraging when everyone around you is picking up purple or legendary engrams . I finally defeated Atheon on hard and all I recieved was shards and a ship while everyone else around me was receiving legendary raid gear.I feel like my game is almost broken or something. Bungie please explain this you don't have a contact us anywhere so how are we supposed to talk to you when we have problems like this occur?

I've been playing since the game came out, and I've only got one purple engram ever. Well, two. My daily story a couple days ago gave me a purple engram. Which turned into The Devil You Know hand cannon. Which my titan is now using. I used to wonder around and it go "so and so found a legendary engram. So and so found a legendary engram." And i'm like "And I only find crappy green....

I only have a 28 Hunter and 20Warlock. No plans to ever create a Titan. I have received no purple engrams during missions. The only ones I have received have been as rewards for end of mission and leveling up the cryptarch. I have never received Hunter or Warlock armor, only Titan. The purple weapons engrams have never turned into weapons, only motes, shards, or energy. F the cryptarch.

2 RepliesI'm about 100 hrs deep into the game on 3 diff characters with the highest being lvl 28 and I have yet to get a legendary engram. But I did get the plan c after completing a tiger strike. The loot system is all very randomized

The only purple engrams I've ever gotten (1 special, 1 primary, 1 class) have all three come from the same room. That first area in the Devils lair, before the mesh deactivation. It just shows how random this can all be. Don't give up.

It's all random. I personally haven't received one since the patch but I've seen plenty of randoms receive them during strikes
