Gaming for charity!!

Dear Friends, Family and Fellow Gamers, I'm on a mission to save kids and I need your help. Toronto SickKids treats thousands of children each year, regardless of their family's ability to pay. These kids are facing scary stuff like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and injuries from accidents to name just a few. After being in a serious car accident when I was 8 I went to Toronto SickKids for 2 years. In that time I had multiple surgeries on my legs and went through rehabilitation to learn to walk again. I can remember how amazing the nurses and doctors were with showing how much they cared. We went on trips to baseball games, the Ex, to the Science Centre and many other places to keep our minds off the fact we were patients in a hospital. There were regularly clowns and magicians to keep us entertained. TVs were rolled in to show movies, the Mighty Ducks being a favorite of mine. The staff went out of their way to make sure my mom had a bed in my room too. On October 25, 2014, I'll be participating in this huge worldwide celebration of the social impact of gamers of all kinds! It's my sincere hope that you'll find it in your heart to support my efforts with a monthly pledge or one-time gift that will go directly to my hospital. Your donation is tax-deductible and ALL PROCEEDS go to help kids. I need your help to reach my goal For The Kids. I want to give back to a place that helped me significantly when I was younger. The kids in there need our help to get through this scary time in their lives. Please make a safe, easy donation online today. Thank you so much for supporting my efforts! You can follow my 24 hour journey starting 8:00 am on October 25 on www.twitch.tv/sloppyderek http://www.extra-life.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.participant&participantID=102304
