So I've just completed the raid on hard with my level 29 hunter. I even got the Vex Mythoclast, (although I can't see myself using it a whole lot due to my Ice Breaker basically earning a permanent spot in my arsenal).
It was pretty fun aside from the fact that I was trying overly hard to not die.. While the warlocks have the incredible option to resurrect themselves. That is a game changer in endgame content like the hard raid and weekly nightfall strikes. This alone has basically made me want to roll a sunsinger.
But, I don't know if I really want to level all the way up to 29 again from scratch basically. I mean yeah there's the exotic piece I can get from Xur, and I can just transfer all my guns over, but I'd have to either hope to get a couple of legendary engrams or farm strikes and buy the legendary gear until I'm high enough to do the raid, then get the raid gear and upgrade that. Just seems like it would take a while and I'm not sure if it's worth doing. So I'm just asking for opinions, what do you think I should do? Is there anyone who has gone down this road or has thought about it?

Now that your Hunter is exactly how you like it, you may start to get a bit bored. I rolled my sunsinger to lvl 29 and everyone kept telling me to get another warlock to lvl 20 so I can do multiple Raids a week, but I went ahead and leveled both Titan and Hunter so that I can experience the FULL range of the game that I love. I don't regret spending the time it takes to level up the other jobs because it turned out to be quite fun and an experience that I can now share with others. Not many can say that they have all 3 characters leveled to lvl 25+, but I can so I try to give opinions when it comes to comparing some jobs, but in the end it is the player that makes the jobs good/bad, so with that note, it is up to you to decide if you want to roll out a sunsinger. My opinion - Go for it. It was the first job I lvled and it is still my favorite. You never know, you may decide to put your hunter in the closet after you see the OMGPWNAGE that a Warlock offers :P Good Luck, Have a Blessed Day Hit me up if anyone needs help at anytime, I am always up for helping others: PS4 - Docien84

personally i like the playstyle and challenges of the hunter more so i will continue doing my hunter (23 atm) i have played a warlock and i really like them but personally i prefer the hunter. also i beleive you cannot res yourself in some places in PVE i'd check that out first (ive read this a few times) and its not bugged.

It sounds like you might have what it takes to be a badass. Do you remember the steps you took when you were trying overly hard not to die? Learn to do them effortlessly.

Deffinately worth doing a warlock they are the best imo iv also made a hunter it doesn't take that long when u have kick ass guns already :) About 10 hours of play to hit lvl 20. Good luck guardian and have fun :)

Option 3: Stop playing.

Edited by Made In Heaven: 10/24/2014 1:53:52 PMMy 29 warlock was my main, then leveling my hunter was not hard and I already had 3 legendarys for it and got it to 27-29 (if I level my gear) my titan finally reached 23 and that took too long but I already had 2 legendaries for him top

I have a warlock at 27 and a hunter at 29, while the revive is cool and useful I just like the difficulty with hunter personally but that's my opinion
