I've just had what I feel is a pretty good idea.
How many times have you been killed by a Fallen Shock Rifle and thought shieeeet I would kill for one of those. Or blasted to bits by a torch hammer. Or disintegrated by shrapnel launcher.
My point is, why can't we have access to Dark weapons? Why can't I pick up a fallen weapon and turn it against them?
After all every mission we go out looking for technological secrets, for weapons to sweat the Darkness. They're carrying powerful weapons in their hands!
Missions and bounties could even be built around this, the heavier weapons used by bosses in strikes could be rare drops with the power of legendaries etc.
Just an idea to expand the sandbox, and give quick easy content in between DLC. I don't imagine this would be too difficult to implement.
What do you guys think?
TL;DR DARKNESS WEAPONS PLZ

Isn't the torch hammer useable ? Its another Vex gun? Am I wrong? I do like the charge up sniper rifle idea though, adds a whole new level of skill.

The Witch/Wizards attack on my warlock would be fun

It should be a choice after hitting level 20 to either utilize the 'light' or 'dark' in your armour, with obviously different effects/perks for each

here is my take on why we cant take enemy weapons just like the sword os Crota all enemy weapons contain a certain amount of darkness we oily could use the sword of crota because we are sting also Fursion rifles are built on the tech of Shock rifles and the hobgoblin rifles
