VOG
been paying games for years of various types but this was the game I most looked forward to ever and partly it has lived up to it's reputation , the issues and there are a few we all know about but my biggest issue is that if I want to progress I need to play with five people I don't know , i'm a forty year old guy and none if my mates play on consoles so I have to find players now this is all well and good but as I'm only a 27 warlock people don't really want to play with me as I'm not good enough I their eyes I haven't even tried VOG yet as I can't get into a game so I'm not sure now what to do apart from selling my ass trying to join groups or get them to accept me

1 ReplyUse vanguard tokens and crucible tokens to buy gear and dismantle it. I was getting 6-8 shards just buy doing that.

6 RepliesJoining groups or clans is really easy. Just go to the groups section and follow your nose. Don't feel intimidated, there are lots of good people playing destiny.

1 ReplyYou gotta level up your gear to get past 27. First off, make sure you have the kind of purple gear that has a max level of high 300s or low 400s. I think 409 is the max defense for purple gear. Then make sure you have at least one exotic armor. Fully upgrading that is your first priority and is essential to going past 27. Easiest way to get shards is to break down the purple stuff you are bot using or doing public events. There is a website that tells you when public events happen for each area but IMO that method is not for everyone as it cheapens the surprise and fun of public events. But it's there if you don't care about that.
