Using More Than one Piece of Exotic Gear

It wouldn't be overpowered. I mean, look at the raid gear. They're basically exotics: they have an unique quirk which allows them to specialize in certain things, just like exotics. For example, the VoG raid quality gear has oracle disruptor, found only on those weapons. Letting us wear all exotics also opens up more possibilities for customization, and badassery. Imagine as a warlock, wearing the Dire Skull of Ahamkara, Voidfang Vestments, the upcoming exotic Claws of Ahamkara, an Ahamkara themed exotic pair of leg armor, and Bad Juju to seal the deal. Wouldn't that be badass? You'd have all of your gear telling you to dream of teeth and to devour the world, and you'd look like you are wearing a dragon skeleton. This could also introduce set bonuses for any grade of gear. I understand exotic weapons being limited to one, but please don't gimp our style, because every single exotic, bar a few (looking at you, Symbiote), look absolutely unique, original and cool. Looking exactly the same as every level 40 isn't appealing, nor will it ever be. To prevent these potential combinations from being overpowered, I propose that you shall only choose two exotic perks of your choosing from all of the exotic gear you wear, and you only get to use those. The perks are set in stone, unless you pay a hefty 10 motes of light. Here's an example: I have Bad Juju, Skull of Ahamkara, Voidfang Vestments, and Claws of Ahamkara. I can choose to have one exotic weapon perk and one exotic armor perk, or I can ditch the exotic weapon perk to have two out of three of my exotic armor perks. They also have the same defense as exotics, and since light is being reworked to where it averages attack and defense, it wouldn't matter. Also, if it bothers you too much to have multiple exotics for PvE and PvP, limit it to PvE. Are you for this, or not?

 • The argument against this is that it would make PvP unfair, but the simple way of fixing that is this: When in PvE, allow someone to wear and use as many exotics they have. If I have a Last Word, Invective, and a Gjallahorn, I want to use them ALL. If I have Aclyophage, Alpha Lupi, and Amakarakmahawhateveritscalled's Spine, I want to wear ALL of them at once. But PvP would be a different story. If you try to enter the crucible with multiple exotics equipped, it should lock it off, saying something along the lines of Requirements not met: too many exotics equipped, where if you want to play, you'd have to swap all but an exotic weapon and armor piece for a legendary one in your inventory.
