Pretty much every major boss in Destiny is big, slow, and takes/deals lots of damage.
I get that it makes them seem more daunting/intimidating, but there's not really a ton of thought that goes into killing them. The thought going into killing them is usually dealing with outside mechanics, rather than the bosses..
What if Bungie were to put a boss in who was roughly average size and took about half of the average amount of damage to kill, but was a lot faster and required some thought to kill (ie. A shield that can only be temporarily brought down by using one player as bait and luring him to a specific area and trapping him). I think it would be pretty cool to change up the typical dynamic of "Oh look, giant thing, shoot it till it evaporates"

Edited by cizzlebot: 10/23/2014 8:39:00 PMThe only "boss" in this game that actually looks and feels like an actual boss is the Fallen Walker in the Cosmodrome strike. Otherwise, everything else is just an upscaled, regular mob with a ton of extra HP. It's extremely uninspired, lazy, and boring. Kind of makes me sick, knowing that they had 500 mil to work with, and this is all they came up with. You ever play Phantasy Star Online? Those bosses were cool, unique, engaging, and way more fun to take down.

So far the only boss I've been able to enjoy fighting is Atheon, and apparently that's as good as it gets for now. :(

The psion flayers take that role in the dust palace mars strike. They should have more like them.
