Does dismantling a legendary weapon/armor guarantee ascendant materials? I have had good luck dismantling them. I know the NUMBER is NOT guaranteed, but I've gotten anywhere from 2 to 6 energies for a weapon, and 2 or 3 shards for armor. However, my friend told me he dismantled a legendary rocket launcher he got from the weekly heroic strike (from a legendary engram) and received absolutely nothing for it. Not even weapon parts. Just wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue or if bungie might weigh in??? (Disclaimer: I take no responsibility if I've opened a can of worms what spews complaints of being ripped off when dismantling items. Sorry if that happens! Hahaha) Thanks as always guys!
