****The RNG system is the same exact system in nearly every other single MMO ever **** What MMO's are you playing ? Real MMO's have LOOT tables on each boss , and is the reason people want to do certain bosses to get certain items for their class Example : want to get the best Group zone lvl 55 ring for your Templar ? it drops off Boss X in zone Y want to get the best Group zone lvl 55 shoulders for your Templar ? it drops off Boss W in Zone K want to get the best Group zone lvl 55 helmet for your Templar ? it drops off Boss A in Zone B want to get The Best Raid gear drops in the 1st Tier of raiding for your Templar so you can gear up to get to the second Tier ? Boss X in raid zone Y drops chest piece, Boss R in zone Y drops shoulders , Boss A in raid zone W drops necklace . Boss C in Raid Zone W drops earrings 2nd tier of raiding ^^ see above on how to gear up your templar to get to get the gear you need for the Third Tier of raiding ( this is normally endgame raiding in MMO's until the following expansion . Contested Mobs ( mobs that appear very very rarely in the game and are extremely hard to beat ) have their own Special Loot ,, like Mythical items that can actually rival all but endgame loot ( and depending on the Contested mob might the loot might actually be better than endgame raid gear ) if someone Stopped you in a MMO and asked you "where did you get that Mythical/Epic Weapon?" you would be able to tell them the Exact mobs that it dropped off of . <<-- - - - - - - - - - THIS is what Destiny was suppose to be " Each item you get will tell a story and people will know Exactly what you had to go through to get it " etc etc , reasons for each class to want to run the Zones and raids repeatedly to try to get the gear and items they needed to progress , . Destinies RNG is NOTHING like a real MMO, the loot in this game is 100% random,. I got Suros Regime off some random mob during a strike , ( no story behind it , some trash mob dropped it ) I got Monte Carlo from a random Engram and have No clue what mob dropped the engram , i found it running around after we defeated the main boss in one of the strikes Xur Sells exotics every week ,, so if you don't get it as a drop you can just buy it off him whenever he has the what you want . PVP people who score no kills and no deaths get Legendary and exotic rewards = HOW is that like all other mmo's ? random person who is AFK gets one of the best weapons / gear pieces in the game for doing nothing in a 5 minute match versus someone who had to build up reputation with their faction and Buy the legendary reward .. or how about verses someone who can play for 3 months and NEVER get that exotic weapon or gear piece because they aren't able to play Friday / Saturday when XUR is in the game . sorry but your WRONG , the RNG in this game is BRoKEN , it is 100% random off anything , there is no Greater chance of having it drop from the Hardest Boss or drop in in Any zone or drop in a Raid as there is from it dropping for a random person in a 5 minute pvp match to a random person farming loot caves , the RNG in this game rewards the LUCKY people and that's a crappy system . where Luck 100% determines who gets the best loot in the game and time,effort,risk, can get you the same Armor shader for weeks on end a system that rewards farming over playing the actual content a system that rewards being afk over trying your best in pvp loo like every other mmo ? HOW
