My fellow Guardians, When you take up the Relic inside of the Vault Of Glass, you assume a great responsibility. These shields, these remnants of slain Gorgons fused with light by the great Kabr (read them Grimoires, foo!) are the most effective weapons against the Vex's most powerful champions, the Templar & Atheon, and should be wielded with confidence and caution. In your hand is not only a powerful offense, but a powerful defense that can save your entire team. With that said, this is a responsibility that no Guardian should shy away from. Soon enough, no Guardian will be able to, as the Relic will have to be wielded potentially by anyone who enters the hallowed hall of "Time's Conflux" Atheon. But you shouldn't fear the Relic! You shouldn't fear the helpless screams of fellow Guardian's who cry "I'm negated" or "I'm going blind! Cleanse! Cleanse!" Because [i]it's going to happen.[/i] Nothing you can do will stop it from happening, but in your hand is the power to cleanse it, and so therein lies your responsibility to overwatch your brethren. Do not walk too far from them, for they will need your guidance out of the portals of time safely as they bring forth Time's Vengeance by your side. Stay close to them, and you who do not hold the Relic, stay close to him...for he or she is not invincible. The Relic gives great offense, but it's great defense is not innate. The Relic bearer can be hurt all the same as if they held their own weapon, so don't shy from helping them vanquish the Vex (chuck them 'nades, foo!). He or she who holds the Relic becomes the most important asset on the team, and their safety is of the highest priority, followed closely by blasting those oracles. If you have not yet taken up the Relic in battle, that day may soon come to pass. Do not fear! Ask of your team to guide you as best they can, and learn the mechanics, what you can do and what you should do. It's not that hard to master, but you must be willing to learn, as is your team willing to teach. Otherwise, you will be lost in time forever. Be brave Guardians! See you starside.
