Fusion Rifles in PvP should not be allowed
I was upset that you nerfed the auto rifles but I understand that people overused them. But for the last few patches you have done nothing to nerf or completely get rid of the fusion rifle. Talk about one shot kills, auto rifles take some skill because unless you shoot them directly in the head with all of your shots, it doesn't really do much damage. Fusion Rifles are the noon guns in Destiny and they're very annoying. They take no skill and every one of my friends who play this game agree they should be taken out of PvP altogether.

fusion rifles are often a 1 shot weapon if you miss your dead. i have played 266 matches and i have never felt at a disadvantage against shotgun or fusion rifles or any other weapon. so i dont really see why these have to go or why other weapons where nerfed. i mainly use auto rifle sometimes fusion when i use dawn of ward.

I think the fusion rifles are fair enough. Most of them anyway. They have strengths and weaknesses and they are not entirely a no skill weapon. Just like how you need a headshot to do major damage with a sniper rifle, you need to hold down the trigger for a whole second AND be close enough to the enemy for the fusions to be worth using. Try the fusions for yourself. You will find they are not so easy to win as you think. Then maybe you will have a little more respect for the enemy who does well with them. Pro tip: when u hear the charge up sound of an enemy's fusion, quickly jump sideways. You will be a harder target to hit and give you a huge advantage.

here's a promising hypothesis, why don't YOU use the fusion rifle if it's so overpowered... Fusion rifles can be very difficult to use at times and if not done properly in CQB a shotgun will blow your brains out while you're sitting there with your thumb up your ass trying to charge the damn thing... Quit complaining either join the fusion rifles or don't. You can't just sit there all day complaining about things you don't like because frankly bungie shouldn't give a damn... Fusion rifles are only viable in short range which if you even listen to the sound in game, you can hear the moron charging it up, don't approach someone if you know they're prepared to blast you in the face with a fusion rifle! COMMON SENSE!

They aren't op. You miss and any average player will kill you. You have to get around 70% of your shots on target.

1 ReplyIt's clear the only option is for them to baseline every weapon type for PVP. All fusion rifles the same, all auto rifles the same. No difference in stats and no gun perks. It's the only way. Do it bungie.

Two posts above this says the samething about AR, a few down and the same again with shotties. WTF weapons are left? I can't wait for 11/4/14, when Advanced Warfare comes out. It should filter out all the crybaby bitches!

It's quite easy to miss with a fusion rifle. I would say that they just need to increase the spread a little. The damage is fine. It's suppose to kill IF all shots hit, and even then I've had people survive.
