Dismantled armor and guns in orbit did not get anything at all. Help?

So I ran the Nightfall got my drops and what not. Went back to orbit and started dismantling my gear and boom I did not get a single item for dismantling. Went to the tower and nothing was at the messenger waiting for me. Is there anyway I can get my materials for dismantling or did I just take a loss?

You got the Materials in you inventory. It just isnt shown on the screen while travelling to planets or the tower
