How to get FULL Destiny game
If we stand together and don't buy the DLC it will push for free. I know it can be hard but if no one buys it they will still patch it into the game. For those who preordered the DLC write to bungie for a refund. The DLC [b][u]IS[/u][/b] on the disc. They are just trying to keep people hyped for future half assed content. The DLC was originally on the disc but they didnt think they would have the time to create fresh DLC by december thus cutting it out and saving it for more sales. Bump and like if you agree and will stand up to laziness, if they have no DLC sales they will still include it for future sales of Destiny.
MONEY TALKS, your voice on the forums obviously gets our community nowhere so make them live up to the hype of 2013-2014.

I do see a lot of people saying they can't do anything because of a dlc preorder. Stop having your cake and eating it too. Just send one email to them stating how you feel about paying twice for content. At least we can try together!

8 RepliesNot it won't, activision will scrub the franchise. Let me explain 3 things. 1. Activision is a multi-billion dollar company, you aren't going to hurt their bottom line by boycotting two DLCs. You'd have to get everybody to boycott not only Destiny, but also CoD, WoW, Starcraft, and every other game they make. Or you're doing nothing. 2. Destiny made $500 million on launch day, for those of you that don't know that was activision's entire investment for the FRANCHISE, 10 years 4 games, and they made it back on DAY ONE. Everything after that was more or less pure profit. From a business stand point if the project goes south you don't spend extra cash to bring it back, you roll it up and count your earnings. 3. A lot of you won't want to hear this but if you want Destiny to get better then we're going to have to stick with the franchise, stay on the forums and tell them what we want, let them know that we don't think it's a lost cause and give them time to rewrite the story. Because as we all know the original was scrapped a year before launch and what we were given was Frankensteined together from that original story. Now rewrites take time, certainly more than a year, especially when you need to create a universe worth of lore to go with that story. IMO the third DLC is when we will really start to see Destiny take off. They'll have had almost two years to make something cohesive out of the cluster-blam!- that currently exists, that's why everything is so vague, the story has nowhere to go. Give them time to fix it, or don't it's up to you, but thinkin that activision is going to give you free DLC for boycotting their game is, quite frankly, really -blam!-ing dumb.

It's not that you Don't have to buy DLC at all, just buy it after you know you will like it! (aka, don't get it day 1!) Getting games day 1 is literally allowing all of this to happen xD

I really hate that games these days are released and have dlc 3-4 months later, the sad thing is people will be desperate enough to play the full game or "new content" that they will pay for whatever is released.. Not everyone but most will, but doesnt mean they dont see through the greedy business scheme..shame on these companies who claim to care about the community when you could care less about charging us twice for content we should get on release!

I honestly don't play on buying the DLC when it should have been free to start with. Besides, I'll probably be done with laying Destiny in a few weeks because this feels like a fad, just like Titanfall. That game died out in a few weeks. Though I haven't played it (because I own a PS4), people don't even talk about that game anymore.

Trust me I'm not touching dlc. This wasn't a bungie release. I would rather buy a new game then put more money to this boring game. Don't get me wrong I liked the game to start but now it's too repetitive there's no exact way to get the weapons you want all random drops. This game was cool in 2013

5 RepliesI pre-ordered the game and the expansions. I will not support your endeavor because I have played the hell out of this game! I've definitely got my money's worth considering that a 2 hour movie ticket is around $8 - $14, depending on when you go etc. Now factor in food and gas, I'd say that just going to a movie costs way more than this. A couple of hours at the gun range? Oh yeah definitely costs more than that. What I'm trying to say is I believe that we (and I mean a whole lot of you) have different opinions of value. Good luck on your campaign but I will tell you that it's not going anywhere. I would suggest that you look for happiness somewhere else rather than waste your time trying to force it into this game.

I bought the DLC, they've entertained the shit out of me and I think this game is fun. If support for the add-on is good they'll keep making more new content. I'll buy the next one too.
