Weather System in Destiny is a Lie?

Anyone else remember when they said they were going to implement a random weather system to every planet. They even mentioned that it could rain in the tower? As far as I've noticed, it only rains on Venus and it's a very light rain. Where are the real storms?

You do realize that ALL that eats up processing power that could be better used to animate enemies, achieve more realistic lighting, and to improve the combat AI of PvE enemies? That was one of the big problems with Battlefield for, they got so ambitious with their "destructible environments...that they couldn't get the basics right. It's not going to rain on Mars, because it is a DESERT world. There is no rain on the Moon for a similar reason. Hell there aren't even any plants or (non-FAllen/Hive) animal life on the Moon. There is no frank rain...but if you think there aren't weather systems that affect both the Cosmodrome and the Tower, you simply aren't paying attention. The Auroras are absolutely goregous at night in the Cosmodrome...and I've seen early morning mists and fogs on the Tower plaza that are equally beautiful. ..and the raindrop effects on your helmet visor when you look up at the sky on Venus are sublime. . I swear that some of you can't be bothered to actually play the game because you're constantly on the hunt for something elseto bitch about.
