STILL NO LOOT! WTF?!?!?
Question for everyone...
Who else has run the VoG over 15 times (fresh starts with loot available) and still hasn't received anything except Ascendent Energies and Shards?
I finally received my first pieces of actual gear on my 14th and 15th run (chest and gloves)
Last night I ran Hard Mode Aetheon with a group who had lock outs twice. 2 members of the raid both received the legendary sparrow and Vex Mythoclast TWICE in two runs!! Everone else received weapons and helmets. Can you guess what I got? You got it! Shards and Energies.
Does anyone feel that the "luck of the draw" loot system needs to be re-evaluated? I'm stick of grinding this raid and strikes only to receive a middle finger and a couple energies.

That sucks. I have only done hard raid once and only joined at atheon. Got what i wanted. Timebreaker and raid helmet :) Never done a reaid without atleast 1 armor piece and some weapons and other goodies.

5 RepliesCan someone tell me how many times can you raid and get loot per character? Because, I beat it on hard yesterday, but didn't get anything from the bosses when doing it on normal. Also, I know you don't get anything from the chests if you already got them. Are you supposed to start by doing it on normal and then on hard?

I've also failed to get a mythoclast in this time. Mainly have just racked up shards and energies And chatterwhites And ships :(

1 ReplySame here. Did the raid on normal and got shards only. Then did nightfall and got shards as well. Not a single item except a f**ing green helmet drop from Atheon. Unbelievable! It seems that shards only rewards are becoming common. Pretty lame system as opposed to shards + items. Bungie needs to double time on the loot system because it rarely feels rewarding.

I've run a total of 3 complete normal runs. First run = chatter white and shards. Second run =epilogue, the sniper, raid chest, chatter white, shards. Third run = shards and f'in chatter white again. Is it bungie's favorite shader or what? Don't get me wrong, I have got some gear and I'm happy for it. But all the damn chatter white....

Not even gonna lie same thing happened to me only thing I got was the Praedeth's Revenge Shattered Vault Cloak and the Titan cloak while everyone else got mythoclast I'm stuck here with ascendent energies

Could be a way to fast-track your luck :) I like the randomness in the loot system, personally, but it'd be cool if it was biased to what players need/don't have. Players that lack raid boots, for example, could have a tiny extra chance of getting them.

Just did it again my friend gets weapons every time and for 4 weeks in a row now nothing but shards energies and chatterwhite off atheon for me

Off in my run we lost a guy and my friend join on atheon to help ...first time in hard lvl 27 just there for a meat shield and guess what...he got the vex mythoclast and the sparrow and a helmet. I got[spoiler]6 shards and the ship[/spoiler]

Damn, that's pretty awful man. Sorry to hear it. I've attempted the raid twice (no clears yet), and managed the Prime Zealot Cuirass, Gloves and Found Verdict. Random loot sometimes doesn't seem so random. :(
