Hi there to those of you who are more familiar with this game and who keep up with the [quote]Destiny news[/quote] ,those of you who did not hit the hype of the new weapon(Vex Mythoclast), it caused such a strong invigorating feeling when you thought of obtaining it because... It was not only a masterful feat of skill cooperation dedication and down right sense of "bad-a**dom" in ones self. The vex mythoclast is a medal, not just any medal like the ones you get from beating a nightfall and receiving the "Ice Breaker" sniper or "Truth" rocket launcher no, the Vex Mythoclast can ONLY be obtained by, bashing a thousand vex heads, piercing just enough praetorian chest plates, demolishing the massive and crushing force of the Templar(not to mention the amount of teamwork it takes just before that actual first of two boss fights but, I won't get into it as most you have probably been this far in the raid by now I would hope. After taking down the first beast and painstakingly guideing the new people through the mazes of this winding cave you have to manage to defeat a mini Templar [quote]Gate Gaurdian[/quote] and steal his two priceless defender's relics and repetitively teleport and execute a series of exquisite humanly performances all simultaneously with FIVE other human beings hundreds if not thousands of miles away.. Hmm I feel like if we do all this we definitely have earned the vex mythoclast right?... Wrong, actually the vex mythoclast is not in fact a guaranteed drop for raid goers on hard difficulty. If this weapon is your goal don't be discouraged, it will come with time but, the weapon that you've seen do [quote]Work[/quote] in PvP isn't exactly the same actual weapon that got you all so gosh darn excited in the first place. We saw this gun three "shot-tin" people possibly even two shoting them. I have not been able to verify this as I did not receive my Vex until October 21, long after the dreadful day that whomever, not going to mention any names as I don't quite know who the heck to blame. The problem is the Nerf that came out shortly after the vex was discovered by many to be the absolute best gun. Like many games there has always been ... The best weapon, armor, stats, yet where this weapon was the crown gem what it has become is no more than any other weapon that drops every 30 seconds in a green or white [quote]item orb[/quote]. My only question and concerns are ; why is the Vex Mythoclast limited to dropping in the hard raid if it is No longer anything special what so ever?
