Not sure how great or how people might receive this idea, but I thought I might throw the idea out anyways. So, here goes. I don't have a very extensive group of gaming friends, and that list of friends that I do have are limited to my brother, and another two friends. Since I definitely can't play at the same time as my brother (unless I'm expected to go spend another 400-600 dollars on a system) I'm left with only two friends who I can play with simultaneously. For those of you who can't add, that does not equal six. I understand that a solution to this would be joining a clan or posting here on the forums, however, neither one of these have yielded desired results. It gets complicated navigating time zones, getting over work and/or school schedules, and other hindrances. This is what led me to thought of three person raids. I know, I know "That's just a Strike, stupid!" But that's not what I mean. The raid itself is in depth, with a lot of unique game play, and a unique and well thought out premise behind it (or so I've heard, I have yet to play it.) In a desire to play the raid, and acquire the necessary gear to hit level thirty, I thought that a three person raid might be viable. If the Destiny developers at Bungie were to do this, they could of course make it so the difficulty level was just how they wanted it for a three-person team, that way the option is considered no more viable than a six person raid, such as the Vault of Glass, except for the people who can't find a large group. On that note, thank you for reading this and tl;dr Bungie should develop 3 man fire team raids that they consider just as challenging as the Vault of Glass. That way people who aren't friends with a lot of gamers and don't find their Clan or the Forum to be very responsive can still participate and reach level thirty.
