Four times I have gotten a legendary weapon from the Postmaster and am trying to figure out why. None were purple "legendary messages" from leveling up the Cryptarch or Vanguard. All have been purple Legendary Weapon engrams listed under the "Lost Item" section of the Postmaster. However, I find it unlikely that I have forgotten to pick up a purple engram during a bounty or patrol mission. Actually, I have never seen a legendary engram drop in game. I'm a level 26 Warlock. I mainly run bounties, patrol missions and public events. Last night I got my fourth weapon. I had only played one public event but didn't manage to complete it for the Gold star rating. Nonetheless, I feel these "Lost items" are somehow connected to the public events. I would love to be able to repeat this process and get more guns, but I don't know what I'm doing to cause the Postmaster to be so good to me?! Any ideas?
