Destiny DLC for free?!
what is your opinion about it, I have problems for weeks caterpilar, Mario Berry, Zebra ..........

I lol'd . Youve had problems cos if your isp and thier settings. Pretty sure theres a way for you to configure your net better for thr game. For the free .. gaming industrie is a bussiness not a free ride area. They need money to fund advertising, staff, shipping, tax. Etc. Yeah some games give away free dlc .. but mainly due to them dropping the ball big time. The only ball bungie have dropped is a lame story and little content

11 RepliesI have no problem paying for the DLC. I don't care if the map areas are already on the disc. This is stuff people spend their time, skill, and energy on for our entertainment and that holds value to me. Either pay for the content and play, or don't pay for it and don't play. But to demand it for free is ridiculous. I'm not going to say no to freebies from a game developer but neither am I going to demand it. The people at Bungie, and yes, even Activison, have families to feed and businesses to run.

Well... with Activision runnin the show,you can expect to be payin for everything. I am really suprised that they are not sellin exotics on the the store for $2-$3 each instead of sellin them in game at Xur.

I think that there should be free dlc but there should also be expansions that we pay for which add much more to the game. There should also be a new mission at least once a month, we need more to do outside of playing the same missions and new multiplayer objectives on the same maps.

It doesn't matter what we want or even much what bungie wants, it will cost money and you will have ended up paying 100s by the end of this games lifetime if you want all the story

IF you're getting those error code then there's a problem on your side, not bungie's. I've never gotten an error like caterpillar, but I have a good isp and nice router/modem.

Activision is the reason so much content was put on the disc but is now going to cost money. Once I heard Activision was involved a while ago, I knew something like this would happen.

6 RepliesThe biggest problem I have is the dlc is already on the disc! That's what I have a problem paying for... We are going to be paying for a key to open the doors and that's it. If they released everything that was on the disc to us, and then gave us new dlc I wouldn't have a problem with it. But putting everything in game already and making us wait 6+ months to unlock it is retarded.

I want free content just as much as the next guy and i dont mean to be the buzz killer butttt this will never happen. Too many people already bought the dlc pass so it wouldnt be fair to them and bungie is partnered with activision.... I think the only company that has offered free dlc is nintendo btw.

5 RepliesGuess all that COD DLC was free huh? Only Free DLC i have seen worth anything has been From World of Tanks. Course back when live first started with games like Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six most of it was free. But then along came the money whores like Activision. You all are playing a game with Activisons name on it so get your wallets out or cut your losses now.

I don't have any problems paying for dlc for a game I will be playing so what if the areas are accessible now. The real question is how big will let's say the cosmodrome be in 3 years. I think most of the areas included in the dlc were all built at the same time. How big are these areas going to get over time that is what I am excited for. I can't wait to look back and say man do you remember when none of this was here in the beginning.
