the cryptarch
My cryptarch is level 14. I thought as we leveled him up we'd be able to buy better engrams? I still have all common. Please fix this. I've got stacks of glimmer with nothing to buy.

Glimmer is only good for the ammo packs, the fusion rifle exotic bounty, and getting the faction bands that allow you to gain rep with them. Other than that glimmer appears to be useless. Only reason to upgrade the cryptarch is the gift packages you get with each new rank.
