Well I honestly don't know what all of you guys are talking about but I find Destiny to have just short of limitless content and simply cannot fathom how people say Destiny is becoming repetitive and not fun. I mean seriously guys come on, Destiny is a great game that your can really immerse yourself into and I've put in over 200 hours into this game and only one piece of raid gear short of level 30, so I know what I'm talking about here. I have played through the story maybe 4 or 5 times now throughout multiple characters and the sheer depth the story goes into and the replayability easily outmatches that of let's say the entire storyline of Halo or even that of Mass Effect's by a landslide, have you guys even read those grimoire cards? And It's not like any of us are doing the exact same thing over and over again. So if someone asked me "Do you think Bungie should release its dlc early?" My answer would be a quick HELL NO! In fact I think they should push it back a month or two or even three! That way I have enough time to really get my fill of Destiny's current content because in my 6 weeks of almost constant playing of Destiny (no lie) there is no way 3 months is enough time. That being said any talk of dlc at this point in time is ridiculous. There is no way Destiny needs ANY additional content any time soon other than some freshly captivating events such as the Queen's wrath. Also to comment on all this drama about pvp I really don't think anything thing is wrong with it, and I am a heavy pvp'er when I'm not totally sucked into the rest of the vast amount of content this game has. However if I had to pick one thing thing that needs a change that has yet to receive one is the fusion rifle. Personally I think it needs a pretty decent buff, particularly to its range. I just hate that despite my 1440 defense , I still take as much damage from a level 3 npc as I would any mcgoblin in VoG. It really doesn't seem like much changes beyond abilities and that defense just looks impressive.

Even though I could care less about pvp (I suck. Stats tell the story lol) You're very right. When u got destiny I was expecting the social aspects I got from DCUO matched with some fun style fps like I got from Borderlands or Halo back in the day. Needless to say they fell a bit short in the storytelling. Let's get that dlc out and fix this antisocial nonsense. Communication should've been automatic with an ignore option. The lack of proper matchmaking is also a huge piss off. Pretty good post OP.

I think they are just trying to provide the normal PVP content any FPS has. I've jumped into CoD and Battlefield games day one with no unlocks and been in the top 3 on the lists. You might be thinking of old style MMO PVP where levels mean something, here levels are just unlocks for better gear with more options. I'm sure that 16 doesn't have fully auto pulse rifles and hand cannons and fusion rifle main hands. They don't have triple effect exotic armor with extra grenades and golden gun shots. They don't max out their super's faster with melee attacks. They don't have a main hand shotgun allowing you to use that and a sniper rifle. But, if they are good, and can aim and you don't utilize all your benefits correctly, they are wielding a gun and shooting you in the face. If they shoot better, you will die. Like any other FPS. Now, yes, they need to add voice chat to Matchmaking events like PVP and Strikes. Yes, they need to either come out with more unique events or DLC with more content to expand what we can do (the world, while nice needs to be about twice as big with a lot more random public events to join in). But PVP level balance isn't the problem.

How about simply playing because your having fun. Plain and simple. If the fun has stopped, go play something else for a while. I hover between using a set of blue armour or going on full with purples and an exotic. Have you tried having multiple sets of armour on each of your three characters? I swap in armour depending on the weapons or super I'm using at that moment. Keeps the game very fluid for me. Keeps me coming back for my daily Bungie fix. Sorry you have fallen out of love with this game, but I would imagine you had a blast. You have probably really enjoyed yourself, and you know what? I bet you keep coming back now and then.

Why does it always come down to pvp. The game was supposed to be a community based, story driven game. Granted the story isnt as good as it could be. You all need to stop crying over pvp. This isnt cod and its not halo

I think they said they are adding a "opt-in" game chat so you can talk if you want but not be forced to hear everyone. It shouldn't matter what level you are I mean how would that be fun or equal for EVERYONE. One thing you might get is more ability options. Levels DO matter in PVE obviously.

you do realize that Bungie normalized PVP stats right? so if you are using a level 6 character or a level 30 character it doesn't matter in terms of gear. only the abilities are in effect. and Iron banner is limited to a 7 level cap. even if you are playing someone more than 7 levels below you, you get limited on how much MORE effective your gear is. I think that cap should be removed, and bungie should give us the game mode that they said they would. But it isn't my call. More people per game? why is it that people harp on this? What is wrong with 6v6? there are games that do more than that... but not many. do you really think that having 12+ people per team would make the game more fun? no, the maps would just get more crowded, and have more shotgun corner camping because people don't want to run around a corner and get shotgunned. in order to have correctly scaled conflicts, both the map and number of players need to be kept within a certain range. maps get too big, no one can find each other, too small and no one has room to breath between firefights. pre game lobbies? really? why? so that you can have all the trash talk and people swearing at you because of how bad they think that you are? that doesn't sound too fun to me. I can do anything and everything I need pregame, without a lobby screen with open chat. now team chat... that would be good, but not a pure open chat.

true.. a story? yes let me tell you: A friend and I went to pvp, me as 28, and my friend as.. lv 10 full white shit (basic because of his lvl). simple shit: end of the match (deathmatch to NOT leech the points at dominaton) he was second (after me) with 4k+ points, me as 4.3k, means around 300 points (1 kill) difference. our enemies were full 26-28. Also being one shot by a white/green or blue weapon on pvp when you are on legendary or exotic stuff wtf ...? no def. on our stuff against low weapons ????? ths is just amazing.... and disapointing. There is no point to pvp as "end-game" gears because Destiny's pvp doesnt care about it. To me, destiny's pushing players to NOT try being better/stronger than they are ! i'm about to say that "low gears gamer" are more intelligent than "end game" ones because there is no dif between us with no time spent on farming shit. Even on pve, you can be lv 30 and being killed by x4 lv 3 monsters... serious ? lemme laugh ! grind lvls to die the same way

The max level is 20 and after that it means shit. It's like borderlands 2 overlevel, you can be 21 or 30. The level is suppose to help you complete things like nightfall, raid, level 28 daily and level 28 weekly strike. If a level 16 were to do the raid he would get one shotted from every enemy. That is were level 21 and level 30 differ.I admit that they did -blam!- up the iron banner.

Destiny is good just needs more content
