Future DLC....

That thought crossed my mind too, perhaps there was a a fourth in its early Inception but unless they introduce a third subclass for each class I doubt they'll introduce a fourth class of character. I'm sure you've notice the empty box by the subclasses. And I know it's stating the obvious but each sub has a role. Short range/melee. Long range and support/area. And each class is missing one role (at the moment), in my mind that that's what's make the each class unique, it's what they can't do. Titans don't do ranged super and hunters don't have support/area super and warlocks don't melee super. So there seems to be a balance or trifecta between them. Having a fourth class would just ruin that balance. There really isn't a difference stat wise between the classes. It's the subclasses that define ad there role that define them. If or when they introduce the the third sub at that point I feel titan,hunter and warlock will be purely cosmetic differences because each class will become a jack of all trades. Seems kinda pointless to have the option to create three characters in your profile if they can all fulfil the exact same roles and the only difference game play wise is how they melee and double jump. And it's it that point introducing a fourth wouldn't really matter. All that aside. I would be curious to what kind of character a fourth class could be based on from RPGs. Titans being based on knights, warriors and paladins. Hunters being theifs, rouges an assains. Warlock being monks and mages. What style an role could the this mythic fourth class take on that is as varied as the others. I can't think of one. I've been thinking perhaps it was a discontinued class that served no purpose or they class who's practises didn't align with the rest of the guardians forcing them to be removed from the tower.... Dark guardians. In d&d there's black knights why not dark guardians. Guardians willing to cross lines an do things most guardians wouldn't plus that would work well within the destiny mythology and makes sense with the Exo stranger, Hopefully that made sense and doesn't come off as rambling.
