Just picked up Alien: Isolation and Forza: Horizon 2 last night. Those will keep me occupied for a while, but once I'm done with Alien and Forza inevitably goes stale, I'm thinking I should grab the new Borderlands game next. I had a really good time with Borderlands 2.
Could I have someone who owns the game give me short review? Should I buy it?
Edit: Thanks for all of your testimonies, I'll probably pick it up sometime before the MCC.

I don't normally buy a game for the story, I didn't buy TPS for that. But if you played bl1 and 2 the story will BLOW YOUR -blam!-ING MIND
-
I. Don't. Fūcking. KNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!
-
-
Nope, cause it got a 6.5 at gameinformer. It's just the same rehashed stuff!
-
One of the best games. A lot of Eastereggs
-
It's apparently the funniest one but that's it

The bosses are fantastic especially the final boss is so fun definetly get it

Story-wise.its no where near as good as BL2. It almost feels like a DLC than a stand alone game. There are some questionable continuity issues Gameplay wise, barely anything changed at all...other than you can sometimes jump higher. Legendary farming is 100000000x easier, to the point of its almost inefficient to actually kill some mobs that drop a legendary you are after. Easier to kill the fast bosses, and throw stuff in the grinder. Classes are great. This is easily the biggest plus of the game (as far as new stuff). Wilhelm is a ton of fun with some good variety.

NEW BORDERLANDS IS THE FUNNIEST. IT HAS HAD ME LAUGHING MAH HEAD OFF SEVERAL TIMES. THE GAMEPLAY IS COOL, I ENJOY THE LOW GRAVITY AND THE NEED TO WATCH THE OXYGEN.
-
If it was for ps4 I would've bought it
-
I'm really enjoying it so far. If you liked 2 then you'll probably like the Pre sequel.

Borderlands the presequel is extremely similar to Borderlands 2. And that's not a bad thing. I enjoyed the new moon gravity, laser weapons but make no mistake this is literally just a giant expansion upon Borderlands 2. All the assets are reused and there are very few new models especially when it comes to guns but again I don't think that this is a bad thing because there is an extreme amount of content in this game to the point where it rivals the amount in borderlands 2 but it is of the same quality. The writing is interesting, witty, and downright hilarious especially on the second play through for reasons that won't be revealed because of spoilers. There are many games out there that do do things better than Borderlands but somehow I always have more fun playing a Borderlands game than any other and this is no exception. If I had to give it a score I would give it a 9/10 but I do feel like I really enjoy this franchise more than other people so take this review with a grain of salt.
I had a really good time with Borderlands 2.
Go for it then. It literally is just more of the same.

I wanna wait and see if it ever comes to next gen.

Get it. If you liked the others this'll go well to. It's shorter but all the gameplay and humour is there. I'm almost done the first run through on normal. There is true vault mode. Dlc should be great as well.
-
Yes. It's the greatest game ever it's go- *joy pukes*
-
Yeah i heard it was really good. If my ps3 hadn't of broke i'd be playing it now.

I enjoy all of the games, the presequel was a bit shorter than I wanted (about 22 hours of gameplay to do every mission, yes including the side missions) however; the game just came out so all the marvelous dlc has yet to be released. Still looking forward to all of that dlc and still looking forward to max all of my characters :)
