I'm really hoping the buff not only increases the magazine size and or impact (obvious) but also give it void damage like it had in the beta build. It would make it a much more viable and versatile weapon. That is all, enjoy your day.

It's interesting to compare it to other weapons. Just go to Venus and try to kill a pretorian with a Bad Juju. It will be utterly painful. Use almost any decent equiv gun and it will be relatively easy (unless youre low level). This is where the confusion around the weapon's damage is for me. Why rate it as 260 damage if in reality, the clip limits it's damage so much. Is the 260 rating a DPS rating? If so it needs to be DPS per clip imo. This weapon is an oversight, someone messed up the calcs when designing the perks and adjusting the stats. What would I have preferred? An exotic version of the Stranger's Rifle. Best pulse rifle in the game aesthetically and functionally. WHY didnt Bungie thing of this instead? It reminds me of the lightning rifle in Unreal Tournament. It's bullets are instantaneous and look like lightning. Come on guys, take the bad juju and turn it into something better. Exotics shouldn't be legendaries, they should force you into a corner to choose which exotic to choose.

Edited by DirtyBigJim: 10/25/2014 11:50:16 PMI feel as though exotics in general should have damage modifiers like solar, void and arc. They become very useless primary weapons in late game content. :S *besides ones that obviously use kinetic damage like suros using normal projectiles etc.

I guess I can see why they did, because it's pretty easy to acquire once you get the bounty. But still, it makes perfect sense that a weapon of darkness should do void damage.

What I want to see: 1. Increase the magazine size to 27-30 2. String of curses always reloads to a full magazine. 3. Dim the green light at the end of the gun, it messes up aiming. 4. Reduce all recoil at all levels by 50% 5. Increase damage by 10% with 25% more impact 6. Nice to Have: Void elemental

Doesn't the bad juju intsta reload when you upgrade it why would it need a bigger clip if the clip is the size of its entire reserve. also I have been using it a bit more and I found it isn't that bad in crucible if you burst it like a normal a pulse rifle. I'm actually looking forward to upgrading it.

I know from my own experience that any exotic weapon changes dramatically when full upgraded. I have Thorn that seemed like useless weapon until I've unlocked second perk and this gun turned itself to a completely different gun. Some goes for every exotic weapon in this game. Even Suros Regime and Pocket Infinity are much more weaker at the beginning and only shine after some time has been devoted to make them better. My point is that for example Bad Juju doesn't need its magazine size increase as one of the perks eliminates the need for reloading this weapon.

Being that this gun is all about not reloading I would like to see 1 slightly larger clip size 2 less recoil in full auto 3 more impact 4 if you have to reload a DoT is applied to said mob just because it made you reload 5 dull down that bloody green glow

I just got it and I think it is underpowered. They need to increase the mag size (obvious) then it needs a void damage again also the fact it needs impact (obviously). I mean for all the work you had to do and it isn't that good its kidna disappointing. Then the fact its an exotic and I think most exotics should have elemental damage due to them being EXOTIC. Just my opinion

Regardless it's way underpowered and not worth the bounty , hope is good and if it becomes a weapon that's actually going to work it would be good. It till then it's just visual bliss

Oh man I did not know it had Void damage in the Alpha/Beta, that would make it so much better if it did. In fact hell most exotics need elemental damage.

Should make the clip 18 so it has an extra burst, then change hip fire to a perk where the last burst of the clip does additional damage... Maybe a buff to the impact slightly too! Also make it void damage... Or maybe add a poison dot for it like thorn!

That's what i've been saying. Void damage 30 round clip Impact at least 25% of the impact-bar. that is all. and keep the green light as is.

What's it matter? It'll get buffed, pvpers will cry & then it'll get nerfed. Such is the cycle of life in Destiny.

Yeah always wondered why they rmeoved the void damage i mean its an exotic so i'd expect it to have a elemental damage despite beeing a primary. I think brining back void would make it viable again.

Edited by Future War Bro: 10/24/2014 8:19:58 PMConsidering you can buy Super Pox from the vanguard store that has great impact, stability, up to a 42 round mag with like freaking 450 reserve ammo WITHOUT mods..... they had better buff the Bad Juju to at least perform at the same level. The best Pulse rifles imho are Super Pox / Fair and Square / Red Death just due to the high impact. they're also really easy to use unlike Bad JUJU which is absolutely punishing. (If you miss one burst you can't even kill cabal phalanxes in one mag lol) Still trying to get the Praedyth's timepiece to complete my collection though. Want that Arc pulse so bad >_<
