Assuming anybody actually reads this, these are my thoughts on the new update. If you're going to call me a crybaby for the first paragraph, read the second before you do. Personally, I don't understand why randoms are being sent into the portal instead of the back 3. I was under the impression that completing the raid was about skill and strategy, and people were using strategy in the fight. Yes, the update makes sure everyone in the team can complete each task, but that's generally not how team-based puzzles/challenges work. Teams are created so people can cover each other's weakness (You're not high enough level to deal max damage to something? We'll send in someone who can and you'll be a support role). This is forcing people to make teams where everyone can do everything, which will result in greater challenge for teams who stick together after the update, or it will make sure the people who aren't the best can't do the raid. However, that only really applies to the normal raid. In the hard raid, you're supposed to be the best of the best to complete it (assuming you don't use an exploit). That means you should be able to do every role, and that there is no weak link in the group. If you're not good enough, you can go back to the lower difficulty to practice, which isn't something you can do in the normal version. TL;DR The random teleport mechanic would fit the hard raid well, but it screws over people new to the raid and groups who cover each other's weaknesses. Edit 1: I've seen suggestions in other threads that instead of sending the back 3 every time, only send the back 3 the first time. The next group sent in will be the three that stayed outside, which will repeat until he's defeated. That way, everyone is sent to the portal, but there is still strategy involved instead of pure luck.
