Myself and several others included believe that we should be allowed to trade gear with other guardians but to keep it within certain parameters such as trading exotics for exotics, legendaries for legendaries, etc, etc. Obviously an exotic for a rare or even a legendary would be too easy for players to just give away high level gear they don't want (probably not the phrase I'm looking for) , which is why the above parameters would be a great way to keep things even. But that would also include items like ascendant materials. Just a thought; of course there may be negative consequences in this that I may have overlooked but I think it would be a great idea.
