Frustrations of a lev 30 Raid Veteran
Beginning
1. The invites to raid at the tower are never ending.
2. People who just stand on the circles in the beginning of the raid and lead minotaurs straight to it. Da -blam!- yal doing with your lives
3. Put your -blam!-ing shotgun away noobs before that minotaurs beats your ass with his fist.

5. So you died with the relic and didn't say anything. Cool
6. Bitch put away the suros and shoot that boss with a damn sniper!

I do a LOT of charity runs for randoms via groups I'm in so I have no idea if they have done it or not and I don't take command unless we are failing a lot at a certain point because people are unclear on the objective.

2 RepliesStrange; I keep hearing of people running into this same problem. I run random groups all the time and have never once ran into these problems. Then again, I don't just expect people to know what to do. I find that explaining each section and establishing roles, as well as loadouts (as in teach the raid) beforehand prevents any "why isn't anyone defending the Conflux" situations. After all, how would someone, especially someone who has never done the raid before, know to defend the center Conflux? Also, stating "someone defend the Conflux" isn't really helpful since everyone will assume someone else will do it and nobody will go. In short, teaching the raid and establishing a leader that says who will go where (by using people's names not just saying "someone take care of that") keeps these issues from ever coming up. In case it matters, I have 34 raid completions and have not run into those issues since my first run 1 day after the raid was out. As far as the messages go, you can easily ignore those or turn off notifications if they bother you so much.

While I understand frustrations with people who don't follow orders, I can attest to the fact that 17 is not 100% accurate. I've died from them just as easily on top with my level 29 Warlock. they can get onto the top at times, albeit it's rare. I've also had three show up right below and was unable to jump up in time after reviving someone and they took me down. Something to keep in mind since I've had a few people insist they couldn't take you out there and then were corrected... by having to pick me up. I request that every raid be treated like it's someone's first one. Pick someone to be the leader and have them be in charge of calling out what's needed ahead of time and making sure everyone knows their role. I've been focused on enemies and not realized everyone moved to the center conflux. A simple shout out does the trick and is appreciated by most. It's the only way to get people comfortable with the stages.

And all i got so far is a helmet, chatterwhites and timebreakers... And some of this lvl 30s dont even know how to run VoG... I played with one and the thing he ask me that get me was "do we shoot the vex thats sacrificing to conflux" and the other one "what are those bring things" oracles

This raid isn't even hard in the first place. lol Honestly if you give 5 minutes of your time to reading a guide, or have someone give you the basic idea. It's a cake walk.

I personally have never done a raid, but I'm assuming the game or your team via headset makes it clear what to do and when. If not then you're coming across like a total a$$hole. Remember, u were a noob once too, everybody starts inexperienced bro.
