Should class items give buffs?
So I was think that maybe the class items should give players a very slight buff. Rare and legendary class items could random buffs like Increase damage with X element (void, arch and solar), increase damage with X weapon type or increase chance for engram drops. Any type of buff really would be nice to make the class items more than eye candy.
What does everyone else think?

Yesterday I purchased the vanguards titan mark and emblem expecting an increase in reputation earned for patrol missions, but nothing. I hear the travelers items do have hidden buffs though...
