Awesome *Crucible* Idea!
Getting sick of getting killed by gamer's Specials? Getting sick of being blown up by rockets? I am too! Gamers that would prefer a skill-based game type you've come to the right place. I want to bring in a whole *Crucible* playlist that takes away your "Special" I.e. Nova Bomb, Golden Gun, Blade Dance, etc. They're annoying. They take absolutely no skill to use, and you get cheap kills. Let the gamers that prefer to use a normal gun over explosives/specials/rockets(Heavy ammo) have this playlist. Everyone gets annoyed when a person's special makes it almost impossible to kill, taking atleast 2x the damage compared to usual. So who else agrees we should have a *Crucible* playlist that excludes the usage of Specials/heavy ammo? Reply your feedback below! Thank you!

1 ReplyI'd like to see a hardcore Playlist where there's no heavy weapons, no specials, and limited special ammo drops. I think the more skilled players would enjoy this. I would personally play it. Probably more than the other game types.

1 ReplyIdk about all that but it would be nice if they had a section you can go in with just friends in like a 6vs6 setting, it would be Unranked and not count because you don't want guys doing bounties that they don't deserve, can do all pistols or whatever you and ur buddies want to do

How about we have heavy ammo when we spawn but enhance the numbers of vehicles and splash so it's either get killed by a pike or suicide in close quarters

4 RepliesNot huge into pvp but I like the crucible more then all the multiplayer fps's out there. We have space magic. We have super powers. We are Guardians. Why would we want to dumb ourselves down and make fighting as boring as COD. I have to disagree with this. If that's what you want to play there are lots of games out there that are exactly that. Would make no sense for them to do this.

2 RepliesI have a great idea for you good sir/madam go and play call of duty, battlefield or another generic online multiplayer focused fps which doesn't have any of these supers :) I don't mean to be harsh it's your opinion and a lot of people may even agree but I'm sick if all the bitching about pvp haha

1 ReplyTrue, but they do take skill to get the most out of. A skilled player can either use his special to get multiple kills or save it to prevent dying from someone else's special.

2 RepliesI think this is a great idea seeming that everyone that plays crucible is a no skilled player that get kills off of a weapon so easy that anyone can be like that 40K/D person when they are actually extremely bad at the game.

4 RepliesI don't think specials take away from the crucible. If your enemy has a solid lead you can manage your specials to catch up if timed properly. It's a valuable tactic in the crucible and used often. IMO it makes games fun when you have the super close games and everyone is like omg shit shit shit!

2 RepliesI agree, supers make it random and worse than cod in a way because anyone can get em. Problem is iron banner which isn't for balance, isn't always available therefore people want all these perks and crazy upgrades in the crucible. Bungie needs to set the iron banner and regular crucible more apart, so the player base that want real balance can have the regular crucible, and those that want to spam supers and have exotic gear advantages will have the iron banner. And for the supers, this competitive mode suggestion could simply have it so no matter the class, you can only use one super a match, so players have to use then wisely! Otherwise, halo master chief collection comes out soon and I may have to drop destiny for that.

Also snipers only or hand cannons only modes would be cool, and should be done randomly throughout the week. I'm tired of clash control skirmish & rumble. & FIX GAME CHAT. ASAP

1 ReplyI've been hoping for this for quite some time now. Supers are great when used as part of a team effort, but not always when you're just playing with randoms in a playlist. There's ups and downs to including or excluding them. I'd like to see the playlist added so that everyone has a chance to evaluate its popularity with the community.

5 RepliesActually blade dance does take skill. Especially when all it takes to kill a blade dancer is a well placed shot to the head, a rocket, a single point blank shotgun, a full body hit of a fusion rifle and a melee for good measure, any super in the game. It takes skill to not die. No super takes skill to get a kill. Learn to play. Stay alert.
