So I got the universal remote from a drop in VoG, and started playing with it. A little annoyed at first having it put in my primary slot, not making it incredibly useful in crucible, but still, I levelled it to get the unique upgrade. I'd been promised a shotgun with the range of a precision weapon, I instead got a shotgun with a 6 foot effective range that upgrades to a nine foot range (putting me on a par with the comedian). Is this shotgun working as intended? Was it hit super bad by those recent shotgun nerds? Why is it still choking up my primary weapon slot when it has no ranged capability, or indeed counted as exotic when there's very little exotic about it?
