Bungie is about to lose another long time customer
I've bought every halo game since they first came out in 2001. Ever since the first news of Destiny came out I was extremely excited and waited on my toes until it came out. But now that it's out I have lost faith in the bungie franchise. I can't play this came 5 minutes without disconnecting from bee, fly, lion, centipede, and zebra. I've done all the troubleshooting and I don't have any disconnection problems with any other of my Xbox one games. I've been patiently waiting for a solution to these problems, but the game has been out for a month with no fix in sight. I hope that these problems are taking more priority than they seem to be. Please fix the game

What modem/router do you use? I have a UBEE gateway (modem/router combo). They don't seem to work well because gateways are horrible for gaming and dont forward ports correctly. I had to put my UBEE in bridge mode and connect it to a Netgear router. Bridgemode makes the gateway act as a modem only (disabling the router side). This worked for fixing my caterpillar and hawk errors I was getting constantly. I've played on and off all day and havent been DC'd once.

2 RepliesThanks to everyone who replied, I wasn't trying to start a fight. I was just posting my problems in the help section. I'm pretty sure the problem isn't on my end. I have called customer support for Xbox and my internet provider, also have done all the troubleshooting the bungie site has suggested.

Although we have no ETA, testing is ongoing.[/quote] So yeah, we know some players are getting lots of these error codes and are testing out possible fixes. Still no ETA on a release yet.

This game is a -blam!-ing joke. there are indie game devs releasing more reliably playable FPS games than bungie is, and they have better customer support as well. Bungie hasn't made a single effort to even address this massive problem that literally makes the game unplayable. And before a MOD or a fanboy wants to blame the interenet connection. I have definitive proof that this problem is not with the net connection. I play on the same ps4 my friend does, same net connection, same router. He can play with no problem, me, I can't stay connected in cosmodrome for more than 3 minutes. So it literally can't be on my end. This is something bungie is doing and they need to damn well fix it. Also the way bungie is ignoring this giant issue, just trying to bury their heads in the sand and not address it at all, or say squat to us, their players, is unbelieavable.

9 RepliesI'm going to dump this game next time I'm in town. I've spent a ton of time trying to play it, and I expected the Bee problems to be solved by now. But all that's left for me to do now is PVP and the raid. I crash constantly trying to do these activities. Really aggravating when many of my real life friends are playing the raid right now, and I can't join them. Really disheartening and a shame. I'm just like you. No problem in other games regardless of system. I just get a kick out of the current update. They're searching for why there was a spike in the errors. No word on how they're going to fix it. The only thing short of a fix that would placate me now would be for Bungie to put on their cards on the table. Explain the cause of the error at very least and more in depth information on the steps they are taking to solve it. They could at least explain why network instability is such a problem with this game. Is it extra sensitive to packet losses? Does it have zero lag compensation? Are they on some sort of server or network protocol that does not mesh well with lots of users equipment? What is it?

Connection errors have hindered me as well, totally screwed my chances in iron banner

i agree, i have been a long time bungie fan also, and halo 3 has been my all time favourite game, now destiny is climbing the charts and would probably almost be on top if it weren't for all the connection issue, don't know how many times my raid party has lost at a certain point because of someone getting ZEBRA, or CATERPILLARED out of the game.... it's getting beyond ridiculous. bungie should be worrying about these major problems before worrying about nerfing certain guns.... please fix these issues already!!!

Ive never had a single issue besides not seeing my space ship once in a while,but thats no big deal. But ever since tuesday patch im getting non stop baboon error code ever five minutes or so can't play at all. I log in go to tower disconnected go to strike disconnected play anything in destiny disconnected. I play any other game besides destiny I can play with no issues.

I played the first two weeks after release with little to no problem, some occasional disconnects from Raid of Glass and Crucible, but they weren't bee. It didn't bother me. Now is a different story. I jumped on last night after a week to see if anything has changed and 2 minutes into a Control match I got Bee. I'm done until there is a patch alleviating these errors.. at least there is a decent flow of other games coming out.
