Vex Mythoclast Solution??
This pertains to the people who have the Vex mythoclast or intended on getting it. The guns ammo capacity is sub par and you find yourself looking for ammo quite often [before patch] so my suggestion which I've posted multiple times in other threads is to [b]Add a perk that deals 34% more damage to non-guardians.[/b] this will in no way effect PvP and myself and the others who play PvE will be happy as well. I welcome constructive criticism.
The end goal is to separate the patches from each other. PvE staying one way while PvP stays another way. I understand that may cause a little more manpower to be used but I feel we are worth it. Besides with out the fans of the game, this game would slowly fade away.

2 RepliesThey intend to fix the mythoclast I'm not sure when, but if you read the October 17 patch notes it's in there about fixing the PvE side of things. Hopefully, seems though they have been dropping the ball on what is needed.

1 ReplyThe guns ammo capacity makes me grinch. The 168 ammos Vex carries runs out fairly fast. The maxed clip size is nice. I'd love to see the gun affected by increased special ammo capacity perk. Yes, it uses primary ammos but there isn't an ammo perk for a primary fusion rifle as far as i know.

39 RepliesAm I the only who thought it was too strong in pve as well? I was killing wizards in 1.37 seconds with that gun pre-patch, and thats without any upgrades. The Vex was a bully and made me feel stupid if I used anything else. Now I have my choice back. I still use it, but I can use other primaries without guilt, too. Bungie gave me my freedom back, and for that... /salute

7 RepliesIt's meant to be the best gun in the game at this point in time but now PvE and PvP it's out preformed by most exotics and some legendary they need to give it back a damage buff and then tell people crying about it to just beat the raid on hard and find it

It actually helped are team in VoG. I don't get it... You have to play the most challenging thing in destiny and beat it and then beat the next hardest thing (RNG) to actually get it, but for it to only then be totally useless in PvE? Which was originally designed to out preform in but now to only fall short in? Let's see how long it takes for them to actually give some sort of buff to vex mythoclast to actually perform again in some sort, we all know how long they take to nerf weps rather quickly, but to buff them? Were still waiting on bad juju and thron buffs for weeks now so who knows how long this is going to take. I guess for now it can act as just a vanity item rather then what it was attended to be, the best weapon in the game.

5 RepliesIn a game where you carry your weapons between pve and pvp you would expect them to function and work the same between the two. This is why they balance everything at once. It would suck to play PVE and get used to how a weapon functions only to take it into PVP and find out it's now different and sucks.

Undoing the nerf just for PVE would still have the same problems as before: It invalidated any other primary weapon choice, made the game a one gun game, and helped people just faceroll through content. 1 ReplyI had the gun for a day before they nerfed it, now that i have it fully upgraded it still doesnt even compare to the pre patched version unupgraded. i agree it was over powered for pvp, but i dont see the reason as to why it was nerfed for pve. Bungie you crippled the vex mythoclast and left in a ditch to die i wont even use it anymore because my auto rifle is soooo much better.

3 RepliesI think even if they just gave it more useful perks it would be better, something like firefly or if it ignited enemies and did DoT. Then I wouldn't mind the damage nerf. I think it should have an exotic perk, though.
