Let me start this off by saying I am not the best player in the game. I work 40+ hours a week and workout for an hour+ every day. Due to my lack of time, my highest character is only level 27. I spent 3 gaming sessions just to get the pocket infinity. I slaved my entire gaming time away for 3 days to get a good weapon. How am I repaid for all of my hard work? I am repayed with my new shiny weapon being worth nothing. I literally used it for one day. I'll probably scrap it now. It's worthless! The whole point of an exotic weapon is that it has some perk that makes it better than other weapons. Now the pocket infinity is the same as a legendary. Not even worth having. And now the shotguns are nerfed too. Sure they were strong in PvP but that's called a play style. Everyone has their own tactics. Now my universal remote isn't worth crap either. I practically ran circles when I found it I was so happy. Now it has no range so it's useless as a primary. And next, the vex mythoclast. The most powerful weapon on the game. The gun people like myself (used to) dream about. The gun people like myself (used to) sit at work and wish they could be home playing xbox so we could one day get our hands on it. Now it's also nerfed. The single most powerful weapon on the game, the object of every players envy and jealousy, the holy grail of weapons, is just another plain old gun. I hate you Bungie. I really truly hate you. You have lost my faith. Your campaign (or more like the lack thereof) sucks and I overlooked that. Your PvP sucks and I overlooked that as well. I hung on because loot hunting is what makes a MMO worth playing. But this game isn't even good at that anymore. Don't get me wrong. It was bad to start with. I mean you don't even get a chest after beating a boss? Come on man. I thought that was a requirement to be considered an MMO. But now there's not even loot worth hunting. Every time I slave long enough to get an exotic it gets nerfed. Then the weapons I was working toward getting also get nerfed. There is absolutely no incentive to play this game anymore. Think about that Bungie. There is no reason to complete the campaign, no reason to reach lvl 30, and no reason to complete the vault. Remember that time you took the cryptarch to the woodshed? That was the one and only shining moment that provided us with hope Bungie. Everything before and since has done nothing but let us the gamers (the ones that pay your bills) down. You said you wanted this game to last 10 years. At this rate it won't last 10 months. I can assure you of that. You're catering to the casual gamer, the very same gamers that will quit, even when you cater to them, as soon as the next good game comes out. Listen to the real gamers. The ones that (would like to) stick around. If you keep betraying our efforts then we will betray you by playing Halo on November 11th.
