Exotic weapons and armor limitations
I can understand why you cant equip all your slots with exotic armor (and hope you can do this when level cap will be raised). But why weapons? It's not like you can hold all of them at the same time. You just make me use 18(not right now, but when i finished there will be 3 legendary and 3 exotic weapons for each slot with different elements) weapons instead of 9. And yes, i'm switching my exotics mid missions and eat ammo pack. So basically i have all 3 weapon slots with exotics, but when i need to switch from torn to ice breaker i spend 5 seconds instead 1 and sometimes 4 minutes (ammo cooldown), Please remove this worthless restriction or explain why it exists.

2 RepliesIf you want people to respond to polls like this, you have to provide an option for both sides of the vote. Here you've provided no choice for "Neither, I like it the way it is", which would be my vote. What makes exotics exotic is their unique abilities. With raid gear being the only route to level 30, the only uniqueness for characters is which exotics you choose to use. It forces you to plan ahead and make tradeoffs and adapt to your circumstances. I wouldn't change the exotic system at all.

Where is the IDC I have exotics? Cause I am working on my 4th exo weapon and don't mind only being able to weild one at a time.

highly agree i use(d) surios regime love it slow fire was great on Dr nope now far to fast fire so i bought icebreaker cant use SR now.. then i got patience and time from engram right after i bought IB -.- day after i get ghjalhorn rocket from engram which i always wanted so now i cant use SR IB or PAT now looking at them..leg and exotic both 300 power both have similar abilitys there is no difference! my dr nope is better than some exotic weapons i have its abiltys are deal bonus damage when you reload after a kill bottom half of mag deals bonus damage now the armour is only more animated some of it..slight better def and light but if you run the raid yeah better Armour reward.. whole point is exotics are not as good as bungie thinks and we need to hold more not soon not in few months update LAST MONTH this should of happend at the start!

This would be ok if exotic weaps were significantly better than legendaries. In most cases they arent. Also managing inventory to equip only 1 exotic is a pain.

It is very frustrating and basically tedious when you want to switch weapon type (eg from a void to a fire fusion rifle) and immediately you have no ammo.

I think the cap for armor exotics will be removed eventually. But not until the level limit is increased beyond 30. And then they will likely be a new tier above exotic that you can only have one of.
