Compiled Suggestions and Thoughts (BUNGIE READ THIS!)

I agree with you! We should change some of these.

I agree with most of what you say, but not all.

I disagree completely (PM me as to why)

Qualifications and Biases First off, let me get this following things be put out there so that people can get their own understanding of my biases. I've played this game less than an hour shy of 6 days at the time I am writing this. The largest amount of time has been spent on my Titan, however I have maxed out my Warlock and Hunter, and played all classes to a fair degree in multiplayer. I'm a skilled gamer by most regards, I end games frequently with positive K/Ds, I'm a decent player at CoD, and an excellent player at the Halo series, so any complaints I have to something being overpowered I hope you understand is with fair reasoning. Gear Fixes I've acquired a full set of Raid gear for my Titan (with exception of the exotic helmet I am using) And while I am happy I am quickly on my way to level 30, I can't help but think it a bitter sweet victory as it leaves my Defender subclass less useful as the armor provides no Strength to my build, making my playstyle impractical. The only way I can fix this is by going back into the Raid and hoping I get raid armor that has different stats, while still hoping that the gear has the same perks I want. There should be a person on the tower that we can bring our armor to and reallocate points from our armor to other stats if so desired. This idea can be extended to changing perks out that we don't deam useful in a similar fashion to CoD Ghost's perk system, with certain perks being worth more points than the others. modifying perks may be too complicated for the standard member, however I do think that being able to reallocate stat points is something easily done. I would advise not allowing exotics to be modified though, as they are easier to acquire than Legendaries, and should be seen as bound to their stats. Xur could be the person who does this for a price of strange coins, or perhaps the speaker could do this for Motes of Light, or perhaps even a beam of light we associate with the Travler that wouldn't need a voice actor could do it for Motes of Light. It's something easily put into the game, that would allow a lot more customization of how we build our characters. Ammo Synthesis I hear a lot of people saying that we should have ammo synthesis more quickly able to be used. Instead of having us go to the menu and use it, why not let the player use it without the menu? If they have a syntheis pack for the weapon they want more ammo for, once the weapon is fully depleted, let the player hold down the reload button for a period of time to use the pack that way. You could disable this for Crucible, and would allow player to stay further engrossed in the action, rather than pulling them away to do something to keep the action flowing. Trading System Now I understand the concerns about giving players too many strong things, or fear of duplicating items. What I advise, is that you allow the NPC that provides us with our gifts from the Cryptarch and from the various factions to be able to send items from once character to the other at the cost of either a high amount of glimmer, or Motes of Light. This would take the item out of the player's hands, and allow it to be redistributed, rather than friends looking at the piece of armor or weapon their friend is dismantling in tears. Both the sender, and receiver would need to give motes of Light in order to send, and recieve the item. Xur's Wares Voting There should be a pole on the bungie site in which the community of Destiny can vote on only one item to appear from Xur the next week. This would allow players to feel in control of what is being given to them, rather than being at the mercy of what Xur has to offer. This item could be in addition, or take the place of another option Xur has to offer, but it would be something to help the community, and bring them to the site more often to try to get somethign for their character(s). Repeating Raids I can say the most fun I've had with Destiny is doing the Raid, and I wish there were more raids to do, but I am willing to wait until the upcoming DLCs. With that said, I get together with friends to do the Vault of Glass as quickly as I can, and then once the raid, and weekly, and nightfall are done that week, I have very little reason to keep playing to just hope I get lucky and get a Legendary. I want to be able to reset the raid and have that mean that all chests are back, or even just mean that beating the bosses allows us more chances to get the gear we so crave. You can keep people from just farming the first few easy chests by stating they need to slay Antheon before they can reset the raid. Titan Defender SubClass The Defender Titan perhaps gets the worst end of the stick in the Crucible. The Striker Titan, the Golden Gun, and Nova Bomb can break his bubble, and the Blade Dancer can just come into the bubble and just kill him, even with all the bonuses that he gets in the bubble. I've been killed by lower level Hunters who should be blinded in my Bubble (Thanks to Saint-14), when I have damage reduction, and a shotgun, and they still beat me out. The only thing a Defender Titan can do is hold a point, and that's until another class decides to use their super to kill him. The two boosts I would provide would be the following: #1. Entering into an opposing Bubble negates super abilites, stopping ones in progress at the part of the gauge they were at when they entered the bubble. OR They have rapid decrease of their super while in the opposing bubble. This would still allow classes to break the bubble, but would just keep enemies from using their supers to kill the bubble AND the Titan in it. I'm fine with being destroyed by a broken Bladedance ability (I can claim that as I use it with my Hunter) anywhere except when I'm ready for them inside my bubble that should make me near invincible for as long as it stands. #2. A Titan's bubble shouldn't dissapear the moment he dies.\ Super Abilites The supers should take more animation time before they are released. I can't tell you how many times I am killed by a Warlock, or Titan when I'm beating them handily, only for them to at the last moment use their super to kill me and walk away the winner when they didn't have the skill, or tactfulness to beat me otherwise. I'll see a Warlock charge up his super and know there is no way I can avoid the incoming Nova Bomb. I know the Defender has a suppression grenade, but everyone should be able to get out of the way of abilities they are seeing telegraphed. If you wanna make us more vulnerable by having more frames for use to take damage, or by making us have increased damage while in the already exisiting frames that would be fair, and allow us that see the super coming to respond better than just throw our controllers in the air with knowing there is nothign we can do. Weapon Balancing Most weapons feel rather good to me in how they are used in Crucible. I would like to see increased damge for pulse rifles, auto rifles have a bit less stability (but they are relatively alright), but the biggest offender is the fusion rifle. It seems that it's a very hit or miss weapon with it's hit being too far away, and too potent. I would perhaps consider making Fusion Rifles have a larger charge process, but I'm not very strong in that arguement. I simply think that the shotguns were balanced a lot better, but fusion rifles took their place. For those who said "tl;dr" -Make it so we can reallocate armor perks and stats at the cost of motes of light -Make ammo synthesis usable without having to go to menus to use it. -Apply a trading system via the mailboxes with motes of light to send and receive items. -Give us one item on Xur's list we can vote on each week at bungie's site. -Allow repeat raids to give us gear, even if only from bosses. -Improve the Defender Titan's bubble to fight against specifically bladedancers. -Make the Defender's bubble able to outlive it's user. -Allow us more chances to fight against supers with longer frames before use, or increased damage during those frames. -Play with how to make the fusion rifle more balanced and no heavy hit, or miss. I've played my share of MMORPGs, and the game Destiny is shaping up to be is a great game, but it still needs a vast amount of work. When I first got the game, I weeped at how broken Crucible was, knowing this game came from the people who brought us Halo. It's making steps in the right direction, but a lot of the things I've spoken about need to be addressed. Even if they aren't implimented I want to hear from Bungie as to why the side effects I'm not seeing of these changes would make the game worse off.

 • I simply hope that Bungie employees read this and really take it to heart. I know they are working on a patch right now and that it may be too late for this next patch, but these a vast majority of these things SHOULD be applied. Even if they aren't applied, I would love to see Bungie throw out some reasons as to why they aren't applied. I'm no game developer, but I know what Bungie can do, and this isn't something I think they are any more proud than we are of in awe, and I've yet see Bungie's best on this game they want us all to love so much.
