So after farming a few chest I got a Ship Schematic and with 4 other ships in my inventory I didn't see the point in another one. I was just about to scrap it then I though what if you could scrap it for materials? At this point ships don't serve a purpose other then looks so this could be a way for ships to be fairly useful. The higher the rarity (Common, Uncommon, Rare and legendary) the more materials you would get from it. Would this be a good feature? P.S. By materials I mean Spinmetal, Helium Filaments, Relic Iron and Spirit Bloom. Edit: So even if Bungie doesn't allow us to get mats from ships the least they could do is give us some glimmer for scrapping them [b]OR[/b] possibly a better option would be to take it to the Shipwright. One would think that even in the future of Destiny a freaking space ship would be worth something right? So lets sell our unwanted ships to her! With the changes to how glimmer is used to upgrade EVERYTHING we could sell ships for a profit. We save the world from the Darkness and we are entrepreneurs.
