My super power experience is generally one of three scenarios:
1. (power up Golden Gun) "Yeah, DIE MOTHERFU---"(suddenly explodes from a Nova Bomb, get sliced apart by Arc Blade, or have a Titan pounce on me like a giant electric cat)
2. (power up Golden Gun) "Let's do this!" (misses a shot due to lag or bad aim, misses another from a guy teleporting, finally kills a guy with third bullet) "Ehh, at least I killed somebod---" (a guy slides in like he's stealing home plate and shotguns me in the dick)
3. (power up Golden Gun) "Goddammit why do I not just play a Bladedancer...? This never works." (flawlessly move and execute three people with one shot each, laying waste to half of the enemy team) "HOLY ****ING BALLS I DID IT! GUYS, PLEASE TELL ME YOU SAW THAT! I KILLED THEM ALL! I AM THE GREATEST GUNSLINGE---"(explodes from Nova Bomb)
4. (power up Golden Gun) "Alright, time to MURDER EVERYTHIN--" (spot another Gunslinger using Golden Gun, and immediately kill each other with one shot)

4. Enemy's all over your radar. Powers up golden gun, goes all around the map without finding anyone, golden gun ends, walks around a corner and gets mowed down by three enemies.

Edited by RizenSaga: 12/11/2014 11:28:27 PMMy first experience was getting rushed by two guys killing them both then putting the third round into a sniper across the map. Died just standing there with my jaw on the floor. Way of the gun.

The Golden Gun is almost a guaranteed 3-4 kills. If your experience with golden gun is dying most of the time or missing then I strongly suggest you evaluate your playstyle again. It's litterally almost impossible to not get at least 2 (3 with the helmet) kills with it.

I'm fairly surprised at all of the comments about how Golden Gun is not only a "scrub" super, but also that it's a "skill" super because you have to aim it. Out of all the supers in PvP, Golden Gun is the only instant shutdown, no counter-play, hitscan with significant range in the game. All of the other supers are situational to achieve their maximum efficacy, yet the Golden Gun is viable in nearly all situations provided that it's not initiated in the wide open. Perhaps, at different levels of play, supers provide mixed results. But, one thing is for certain: a skilled Golden Gun user scares me more than any other super that is in play.

Most satisfying goldengun experience; titan pops bubble on control point and teamates gather inside, pokes out to try to fusion rifle me so I stuck a tripmine to the pillar infront of the bubble. They all start dancing waving in their bubble while I backup around the corner to power up, come out blasting, drop the bubble and everyone in it. Dance on their graves.

Suppressing grenade
-
Most satisfying anti-golden gun experience that I have experienced multiple times: "Hey Gunslinger do you mind standing on this Suppressor grenade? Thanks bud."
-
Enemy powers up Golden Gun. I then proceed to play hide and seek with him.

All do true

1. You probably activated right in front of him like a scrub. 2. How can you miss when GG holds your hand? "LoL the lag right guys!?!?!?!?"
-
*sprinting around corner and activate golden gun* *activation animation makes you drift further* *fly off edge of map and die*
-
You forgot to use the Achylophage Symbiote
-
Giant electric cat. You owe me the soda that came out of my nose.
-
As a guy that plays 98% Warlock I like using GG in PvP. My first time I used it in PvP a Warlock was down a hall and he tossed the homing grenade at me so I just and active my super and glide over the grenade and pop him in the face. I run around the corner a pop two more guys then as I run out of the room another guy gets behind me and I throw a trip-mine on the wall around the corner and I see him blow up. Fun times.
-
(Powers up golden gun with a noise so loud it alerts everyone within a 10 km distance) " sigh... Can you be any louder please ?"
-
Gunslinger n a nutshell. It never happens any other way
-
ahahah who uses golden gun in PvP? id say Fist of havoc and that dam nova bomb are the most powerful super charges in PvP
-
My Golden Gun experience: 'I love this gun', I said many times. 'I'm going to use this forever because it's amazing' Realise how limited it is. Move to Blade Dancer Blade Dancer is better Now I'm 'This Blade Dancer thang is the best, I'm gunna use it forever'. Then when the third skill tree is released, my brain will be a right mess. I don't really rate the Golden Gun. I don't like the throwing knife and really miss my invisiblez I get from Blade Dancer.

Edited by ScytheNL: 11/19/2014 6:08:17 PMLast week I was playing control... I get my gg, aim, fire... A SPLITSECOND before that the dude's head explodes, sniped by a teammate. I aim at a second dude, fire: He's mowed down by a bladedancer shooting out of a door a SPLITSECOND before my shot. And then there were no more targets left. Fml
-
Edited for another one that seems to be happening to me a lot, lately.
-
You forgot: Look at radar, "ah nice, couple of targets nearby" Power up Golden Gun, teammates kill all your possible targets, GG wasted...
