More Emotes please... at some point

Ok, I know there's a lot bigger problems facing the world of Destiny (see every post surrounding this one for reference), but could Bungie add a few emotes to the roster? It seems like for an online game, there are very few ways of communicating with the players around you, and when you do /point at something, the bug message is usually gone before you can read it especially while in the midst of a firefight. Destiny already has the "lock on" control feature, why not make that available to treasure chests, resources, or enemy mobs? Leaving the message that someone is pointing at something or waving to you on the screen a little longer could also help players communicate. Personally, someone I don't know shooting me with their sniper to get my attention sends mixed signals at best. I know HUDs are trying to be minimized as much as possible these days, but a little clutter for a few moments isn't going to ruin anyone's experience. As for new emotes, how about these: /Thank You, /No Thanks, /Follow Me, /Welcome (as a greeting, or "Good to see you"), /Fear or /Panic, /Laugh, /Praise (applaud, commend), /Stop!, and /Charge! (Let's Go!). Food for thought. Some people feel totally comfortable communicating via headset with strangers, some don't. Almost everyone not only will use, but loves using emotes. They express an emotion the same way a picture is worth a thousand words. Consider this for the future of social interactions in Destiny. Thank you!
